It was no secret that the use of magic allowed one to live a very long life. For most witches that still meant that those long lives came to an end eventually.
One witch managed to bypass even this, and as far as people knew, she'd been alive since the beginning of recorded time. Truth be told, even the witch herself had lost track of how old she was. After a couple of centuries, time didn't seem to be mattering all that much anymore.
Sometimes, she even forgot to eat for a couple of days, because for her it had seemed to have been only an hour.
