Many people liked to believe themselves to be strong-willed, but she knew better. When she started to sing, there was no will strong enough to resist.

The gift, or curse, depending how you looked at it; had manifested itself early on in her life. Her mother had wanted nothing more than for her to use it to conquer, control, obliterate. She refused, biding her time until she knew how to control her powers properly. When she had crafted a song powerful enough to lull a warlock like her mother to sleep, she erased her mind and left home, eager to start her life anew.

Now, all she used her songs for was healing, making plants grow and putting smiles on faces.
