My second collection of microfiction, sometimes dealing with the mundane, but mostly dealing with the magical. Unlike the first collection, the stories in this one are based on inktober prompts.
The summer witch, true to her name, liked to wear sundresses and sandals. Everywhere she went, no matter the weather, no matter the season.
Some people might call it a compulsion, but she knew better. Because of course you could channel your element better if you felt in your element. So she considered her choice of clothes a type of armor, enabling her to battle with the many energies that were aplenty in the summer: warmth, light, and sunscreen.
And all who dared step into her sunbeaten path, soon learned what it felt like to be truly sorry.
A/N: After all the doom and gloom of the last prompt challenge, I chose something more fun for this first prompt. I hope you enjoy the change of pace.
As always, I'll leave this prompt challenge below, for anyone who might be interested to try it themselves. For this particular one, I haven't done all the prompts, as I'm doing another witchy challenge after it and there would be some overlap otherwise.
