The writer sat behind her desk, utterly exhausted. She'd finished her manuscript at last, sure, but now she found herself faced with a new issue.
It would be impossible for her to find a publisher for this book. In fact, she was certain she shouldn't even try.
While she had written all those words almost feverishly, sometimes even getting herself into a trance, she had managed to scribble down many secrets along the way. Dangerous secrets.
If this book would ever be seen by eyes other than her own, her life would be as good as over.
A/N: I'm pretty sure I've already written based on this (or at least a similar) prompt in a different prompt challenge, but here's another version that is hopefully at least a bit different than the last one.
It also marks the end of this prompt list! I'll probably do another one in the future, but I am going to take a break here because finding new ideas for these tiny stories can be a bit... well, exhausting sometimes.
Hope you enjoyed them though, and maybe I'll see you again when I do another one!
