At first, it had not been something she enjoyed. But after she'd drained life energy out of several people, she noticed to her growing discomfort that she started to be weirdly into it.
Scared of herself, of what she could do, she ultimately decided to suppress the power, and live as if she had none. As it turned out, powers did not like to be suppressed, and so did hers find a way out.
It manifested like a sort of hunger, a desire to get in touch with the darkness buried deep inside of her.
And today she finally gave in to that desire.
