Baby project: a bughead story

(This happens during Jugheads day)
Betty POV
Yesterday was a shock for me but I felt even more awful for Jughead. His dad made it out positive but it wasn't all positive. After he stormed out, his dad said to let him cool of and he'll find him later. Once lunch was over, Fp got a call from what sounded like a very worried Toni and Fp had to run ahead, probably Jug doing something stupid.

That night I called him a couple of times but nothing, so I used a truck the FBI taught me when I had a mini workshop with them and I traced his phone.
I found him at Dilton Doily's bunker.
I didn't tell anyone though, he needs to cool of more so I slept on it.

Today Fp messaged me saying that Jug should be over soon to talk and I waited but nothing. I decided to text Toni to see if she knew anything and she said that he just left pops with Veronica.

And here I am now in the car with a screaming baby going to Diltons bunker where I had a slight idea that's where he was headed. I just go out the car and walked through the forest, trying to calm Peter down. I reach the bunker and climb down and wait.

Peter falls asleep on the cot, and I'm still waiting. What if he doesn't come? What if he really wanted to apologise? I've screwed up haven't I? I start to collect my things when I hear the entrance door. I freeze in my position when I hear, "Betty?"

I turn around to see Jug and Veronica.
"Seriously jug what the hell!? I've been worried of you as you've been sneaking of with her?" I point my finger and Veronica but keep my eyes of Jug
"Look Betty you don't understand the situation I-,"
"Then why didn't you talk to me about it Jughead! I thought we were friends, friends that talk to each other. And you Veronica, seriously are you just stealing anyone that comes into my life?" Jug flinches slightly when I say his full name not Jug.
"Betty please it's not like that! Can we al talk now and let every thing out?"
"Fine but you both better have a good explanation!"
I sit down still blood boiling when Jug starts talking about what happened when he left and how he met Veronica at the bunker.
"-then that's when I saw Veronica,"
"Okay so V what were you doing at the bunker?"
"I've been have daddy issues and he's thrown me out, so I've been working a couple of shifts and living here."
My face softens a bit hearing what she has been dealing with.
"And I couldn't ask anyone because we have been off and I've been avoiding Archie......"
"Why's that?" I sound trying not to be to desperate
"Because of you B..... I miss our friendship so much and lied so I wouldn't hurt you."
I sit there for a couple of minutes then I speak up, "I appreciate this V and I do want to be friends again but I need to know, do you love him?"
"I do..... but I love you and our friendship more! B do you want me to call things of with Archie because if you do I will?"
"V let me think over all this, it's all to much right now, jug can you take Peter tonight?" Jug nods and starts collecting his things, "and V I do forgive you but right now I don't want any Archie drama so come crash at my house for now and I'll give you an answer soon."

We both hug and Veronica packs up and we get to my car. I first drop Jug off at the Whyte Wyrm where he has to see some people then me and Veronica go to pops to get dinner and we make our way back to my house and watch some movies.
