Drink the problems away

Veronica POV
I'm snuggled up to reg right now, last night we had a movie night and so did Betty and jug but in another room.

It's the early morning and I can feel the heat of the morning sun on my face. I get up  and stretch a bit before turning to see Betty in her bed. Wasn't she meant to be with jug?

I go up to her and shake her a awake.
"Betty! Betty!"
She wakes up eventually and I see her face, red around the eyes.
"Betty! Have you been crying?" I say
She gets up and wipes her eyes and mumbles something.
"Can't hear,"
" me and Jughead may have broke up last night."

Did I just hear that right! Her and jug broke up last night!
"WHAT!"
"Shhhh don't wake reg!" She whisper shouts
"Are you serious?" I whisper
"Yeah he saw my cuts but before dropping the bomb on me that he and Abby are in a Romeo and Juliet play."
"Oh Betts I'm so sorry, who broke it off?"
"I don't know I said we need a break and he yelled are you breaking up with me then yelled at me and told me to just leave which I did and came here about half two in the morning."
"Half two? You should have woken me up!"
"No you should have to v, look I just want a chill weekend please with no Jughead Jones."
"And that is equated you'll get no boys allowed!" I say getting up and going to reg and waking him up.
"Ronnie go back to bed." He groans
"Nope no! No boys today byeeeeee! I still love you though!" I shout as I push him out the door
"What is happening?!" He yells from outside.

Reggie POV
I just got kicked out of V's room which was confusing but she still loves me so it's okay. Yeah we said I love you a few weeks ago.

I get back to my room to find a wasted Jughead on the floor red in the face bottle in hand and knocked out. Wait I saw Betty with Veronica, has something happened?

I pick up Jughead and put him in the bath, fully clothed but sticking of drink, and turn the cold tap on directly hitting him.

"Ahhhhh reg man what the hell!" He yells drowning in cold water
"You stink of drink and your red in the eyes, I'll get you your pill and new clothes then we have to talk."

I go and prepare some stuff for him and he gets ready and sits on him bed, angry and still red in the eyes.

"Wanna tell me about it." I say
"Not really but I guess I'll say it anyway, me and Betty broke up last night or this morning I don't really know anymore."
They WHAT!
"Why?!" I say
"I got a part in a play for English as Romeo and Abby as Juliet and I've not told her or anyone till last night where she blew up about it then I found her cuts."
Oh crap! He found them.
"Oh. I'm sorry dude."
"I just didn't understand why she didn't tell me, and you reg you could have said, Betty's not feeling great don't break her heart and drop a bomb on her!" He yells
"Look calm down, I promised Betty and Veronica and her have been talking and she has t hurt herself in weeks!" I say
"Are you sure about that reg, well the ones I saw last night were pretty fresh!" He yells then goes and gets his drink.

I don't even stop him. He's angry and hurting a drink always helps, and Betty's hurting herself more? She hast told v or me.

Jug holds out his drink and I take it and take a sip,
"Sorry I didn't warn you jug I just didn't want you to find out through me I wanted Betty to tell you."
"I understand thanks reg. let's drink our issues away!" He shouts and jugs his bottle and then reveals more bottles underneath his bed.
"DUDE HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS!"
He grins and passes me a bottle

A while later we are, well jug is wasted and frantically moving around the room still drinking I'm slightly drunk also.

We hear a phone vibrate and it's jugs phone I answer it seeing the name 'dad' on it, don't want him to get in trouble.

"Hey mr jonesy!" I say
"Who is this where Jughead?"
"Oh it's reg Reggie jugs in the errrr shower!" I make up on the spot, I mean he's showering in drink but I'm not lying exactly.
"Well let him know and Betty, that me and Alice are coming over tomorrow to visit for dinner and then we are all having Christmas together, bughead and falice dinner!"
"Uh ok mr Jones bye!"

Oh great Jughead and Betty having dinner together and Christmas! How will I fix this! Well can't worry now! I have to drink them away!
