Weird but good

Betty POV
Today we are all having a sleepover, the first in a while with our babies along.

Charles came to visit last night and gave us some unsettling news.

-Flashback to last night me, jug and Charles talking -

"So any news on my father and Abby?"
"Well we found a abandoned house at the edge of fox forest where Abby was last sighted. We checked it and they were definitely laying low there. All their finger prints where all over the house and we found a room with pictures of you guys that are quite recent. And Juliet too. Look we don't want to worry you guys, we can tell they left quite in a hurry so they shouldn't be far."
"Well thanks Charles I guess it's just weird and unsettling that they are watching us." Jug says
"Yeah it just makes me slightly uneasy." Betty says scared. I place an arm around her

"Look don't worry Betty, we'll catch him, and Abby. Then you can live your life."
"Thanks Charles I really appreciate you being here." Betty says
"Well all I want to do is help."

Back to present

Well that was weird so most of the time we spend time at home. Jug has work next week also so me alone is gonna be weird but V should be home a lot more do it should be okay.

Everyone is here now for the sleepover

"Okay so I'm obsessed with these babies!" Fangs says playing with Juliet
"I'm having baby fever tee tee, we need one!!" Cheryl says
"Soon babe, when we are done with school." Toni says playing with Lucas
"Ugh school for another 3 years!" Kev whines
"Why don't you just drop out?" I say
"Well we've been given this opportunity apart from Kev we all didn't have all great lives. We want to matter in that way."
"I can understand that." Jug says, "I dropped out for these two amazing girls, they mean more than my education."
"Thank you jug." I say laying in him
"Okay okay, kids in the room!" Reg says

"Well now you both aren't pregnant let's spice up this party with a bit of drink?" Cheryl says picking up a bottle from her bag
"I'm down for that as long as one of us is sober if that's okay?" V says
"I'll stay sober, I'm not breaking what I have now." Jug says
"You sure jug?" I say
"Yes I'll look after all of you guys and the babies who right about.... now should be going to sleep I'll get them both down and you guys start your drinking." Jug says picking up both then babies and going to the nursery.

Jughead POV

I pick up both babies and take them to bed. I could have drank with them but I'm not going to have one then get addicted and back out on Betty and Juliet. I'll never ever do that and giving up a drink which I may be able to handle is what I have to do.

I place them both down next to each other just for tonight. They'll hopefully grow up to be the best of friends ever.

I sit there near them till they fall asleep then I hear a smash, a glass break.

I run to the room where everyone is and it turns out that wasn't the only bottle of what  seems vodka they have, they all have one in their hands except for Betty who's is smashed on the floor and they are all already wasted that quick.

"Betty! Guys! How in the hell? 15 mins I was gone and and your wasted!"
"Hehe juggle, I see two!" Kev giggles
"My king, my bossy of snakes ssssssssss" fangs hisses

I need back up and I know just who to call, my red-headed companion.

"Archie hey!"
"Hey jug what's up?" He says through the phone
"Uh I need help. There was a party and they all are wasted and there's glass and vodka spilt everywhere."
" damn jug I'm on my way."
"Thanks arch."

I realise it may be awkward he's trying to be friends again and we are all having a party get together without him.

He gets here eventually.
"Hey jug do you have a mop and broom maybe?" He says
"I think I'm the storage closet this place is huge!" I say
"Look just saying no bad feelings about having a get together, I don't deserve being here so I understand don't feel bad."
"I do arch and sorry but I'll try and convince them to invite you next time."
"Thanks jug."

We clean up whilst the others mess around.

"Okay first I'll get Betty can you get Veronica and reg in their bed please?" I ask
"Yeah sure."
I get Betty in bed quickly and I watch Archie with Veronica, as a kind of test

He places her down and says, "I'm sorry Veronica for everything, for hurting you and your family." He goes and gets reg and I set out floor-beds for the others.

"Right there you go Cheryl and Toni." I say laying them on the floor-bed
"I'll do Kev and fangs then."

Once everyone is in bed and the babies are asleep me and Archie sit on the sofa.

"Why didn't you join in drinking?"
"One of us had to stay sober for the babies. And well I've been sober for a couple of months now and I didn't want to ruin that, I used to have a drinking problem when me and Betty split before she found out about Juliet. After she told me we got back together after a couple of weeks."
"Ah yeah I went through that, the drinking. I've been sober for a good couple of weeks now."
"Good for you arch. What work you going now?"
"My dads construction site, figured I'd carry on his work. What about you?"
"Betty's mum got me a job as a writer for the articles. I actually go back to work next week and I'm gonna be preparing some articles to write."
"Ah okay."

We talk a bit more

"Wait wait wait! Betty and you share a brother?" Archie says
"Yeah. We like to pretend it's not like that considering we are engaged with a baby."
"Damn. This is our lives huh?"
"Yeah.... it's weird but good."

I didn't call the chapter sleepover squad because it wasn't much of a sleepover.
