So Innocent

Betty POV
It's been another couple of weeks since my dad coming for a visit, they haven't caught him yet as far as I know and jugs been really protective. He hasn't left my side.

Except for when he does today
"Betty it's time. Look I'll be back in a few hours, then I will never leave you."
"It's fine don't worry about it." I say back hugging him.
Jugs going back to Yale to collect everything and give his room keys.

He's really worried to leave me but Polly is staying over tonight with me because she feels bad for not being here for me. I mean I don't mind it's nice to have company when it's not with jug.

He also got a job at my mums news station to write articles for now, we'll see if we can get anything better.

"Bye jug!"
"See you later, and stay safe!" He says
"Always."

And he leaves

A little later
"Well polly I wanted ask you if you have any tips on like babies?"
"Yeah loads, being at the sisters, and being one of the older ones, they for some reason trusted me with looking after some of the babies and they gave me some tips."

She told me a couple of tips before the door went, couldn't be Veronica or Reggie there in New York to tell her parents about the baby.

I get up and open the door to a psycho b**tch, Abby
"Betty, stranger!" She says walking in with her bags
"Abby what the hell are you doing here I thought I was done with you!" I yell trying to cover my belly which was quite big now
"I'm here to see boyfriend, he hasn't been in school in ages so I was worried. Where is he?"
"Betty who is it?" Polly asks
"Oh no one just someone lost!" I say
"Where is he?" Abby says now cornering me into a wall
"Not HERE!" I yell in her face
"Then I'll wait." She says sitting on the sofa, "oh no need to hide the belly, I know your pregnant with my boyfriend's baby, he told me. it's okay, when he comes back, he won't remember you."
She knows, did he tell her?
"Who are you?" Polly asks
"Oh hello! Juggie's girlfriend, my names Abby!"
"Oh Abby, that Abby, this is my apartment so leave!" Polly says, helping me
"Oh I thought this was my boyfriends!"
"Nope! It's mine, must be a mistake!" Polly says
I smirk as Abby packs back up
She comes over to my stomach and touches it, "so innocent." Is all she says before leaving.

"Okay, from what you told me, she is far more psychotic than I thought!" Polly says
"Believe me, she just touched my stomach and said, 'so innocent.' What the hell does that mean?!"
"Ugh absolute weirdo, just forget it!"
"Yeah."

I wanted to forget it but I couldn't.  What did she mean, 'so innocent' ugh! Usually with this stress I would drink, but I can't do that so, I'm going to have a relaxing bath.

Jughead POV
I've just packed up my stuff and loaded them into the car, but it feels strange being here, something or someone is missing. Oh that's it, Abby she's not following or even here? Where is she?

I go to tonis room to say bye,
"We'll see you guys!"
"See ya jug, next time you may have a baby!" Toni says
"And you may be engaged." Cheryl says
"What!?" Toni says
"Wait where did you get that idea?" I say
"From the ring in your coat pocket." She says calmly
"What jug are you....?" Toni says
"Uh yeah I am."
"Omg! You've grown up!" Toni says
"We'll see you hobo and if you break her heart, I'll kill you!" Cheryl threats.
"Okay okay, oh yeah where's Abby, she's usually my shadow, following me everywhere?"
"I don't know, she left this morning before you got here." Toni says
"Huh weird, anyway I'm glad, did not want to see her today."

I left and started driving my way back to Riverdale, to betty.

As I'm driving near the pembrooke I hear my phone ring.
Betty

"Hey jug!"
"Hey Betts I'm almost here, how was your day?"
"Eventful, I mean you'll never guess who was here today, looking for you?"
As I park I leave my car and spot her, "let me guess Betty, was it Abby?"
"How'd you know?"
"She's sitting outside the pembrooke, waiting it seems."
"Ugh! Polly yelled at her and she left."
"Oh god she's spotted me!"
"Good luck, I'll stay on call."

Abby comes running up to me, much like every other time she sees me, "Juggie omg I was so scared you haven't been in in ages, I thought Betty hurt you or something!"
"Why would you think that?" I say holding back my laughter at her stupidness but Betty could hear and she's laughing a lot through the phone
"She's forced you to put a baby in her, so that you'll be forced to help her and that child, but it's okay, Abby will help you don't worry!"
"Um, goodbye Abby." Is all I can think to say
"Wait, where are to going?"
"Say to pollys house!" Betty says through the phone
"To pollys house, bye!" I say running up to the apartment.

"Oh my God! She's is just ugh!" I say as Betty comes over to me
"She's knows about the baby jug, she said you told her."
"I didn't."
"I know, and before she left she touched my stomach and said, 'so innocent' it's weird isn't it?"
"Damn, just when I thought she couldn't get anymore crazy!"

We settle down for bed, but I still have what Abby said on my mind. So to change that, I saw Betty was asleep and looked over at the ring I bought for Betty, soon I will ask her,  I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
