Jughead POV
I went back to my room the afternoon after the sleepover to find Betty lying on my bed sleeping.
I smile at the sight, I guess I still really like her. I go have a shower and after come back to the room with Betty awake and staring at me.
"Hey?" I say looking for some clothes
"Oh hey, I waited early this morning for you but you didn't come so I still waited and fell asleep on your bed sorry."
"Nah it's okay, sorry I was with the guys in Cheryl's room," I say getting changed in the bathroom then coming out
"You don't have to sugar coat it for me I know you guys were having a sleepover without me."
I give her a sorry look and she changes the subject, "look I'm probably going to be saying sorry for the rest of my life for the way I've treated you, and I regret every word of it, and about the other guys for not believing them about Will."
"What about him?"
"He confessed and burst into tears last night how he tried to kiss fangs and felt so guilty that he moved back home last night and we were over, so much for a long relationship. I guess I can't have a long lasting relationship."
"We would have gone far. I'm sorry about Will Betty, I know how you felt about him, do you want to talk?"
"No not really, how was the sleepover anyway?"
I stayed quiet, I was still constantly thinking about that Archie situation.
"What happened Jug?"
"Okay but don't tell anyone only Cheryl knows for now." She nods and I tell her what happened with Archie.
"Veronica will be broken, what are you going to do?"
"I was planning on calling him and asking for the full story before I tell her."
"We could do that now?"

I agree and call Archie,
"Hey Jug what's up?"
"Hey I called yesterday and someone else answered."
I wait for his answer but there was none. I put the phone on loudspeaker so Betty could hear.
"Arch, a girl answered. And I don't think it was your mum."
No answer.
I look at Betty and she seems horrified with what she hears
I wait before I say, "arch, tell me you aren't cheating on Veronica!"
"Don't tell her Jug! I have to go bye!"
He cuts of and I look at Betty who has tears in her eyes from what she heard.
I go over and give her a hug and she says, "jug how are we going to tell her, she's literally so happy at the moment!"
"I mean she isn't she misses you betts, but I could tell her if you don't want to,"
"No I have to be there, I have to support her and resolve this argument between us."

I agree and we head to Cheryl's room where V is talking to Choni.
I peek my head in the door covering Betty from sight and say, "erm V we have to talk."
"Okay, one sec let me get my stuff,"
As she gets her stuff Cheryl comes to me and says, "so?"
"He is."
Cheryl's face drops, neither of us wanted this. She goes and sits back down with Toni and I give her a nod, she knows that I want her to tell Toni.
V comes out the room and sees Betty with me, "what she doing here?"
"She's with me we have a couple of things to talk about, first sorting out whatever is happening with you two."
We get to my room and V sits on Archie's bed and me and Betty sit on mine.
"V, like with jug, I will never stop apologising for how I've treated you. I pushed you away when you thought was best for me. I trusted Will over you, and that was one of my main regrets, another the other night Jug with you." As she continues talking I gaze out, she regrets not kissing me? This gives me a chance to make things right between us.
"Jug! Jug!" V is shaking me
"Hey! Sorry gazed out, I'm really tired."
"Me and B are good but why do you need to talk to me?"
"Erm so last night, this'll be hard to say but we're here for you......"
"Okay don't keep me waiting!" V shouts
"When I called Archie, he initially answered then a girl answered and said how I was interrupting something. She spoke really fast so I wasn't sure. Me and Betty called earlier and he said not to tell you but he's with someone else whilst he's back in riverdale....."
I could see tears fall, she was heartbroken, Betty ran over to her and hugged her as V cried.
I came over and supported her, this is harder then I imagined.
We heard a knock on the door and Cheryl and Toni came in and ran to V.
I texted Kangs to come over and they came seconds later
"What happened!" Kev shouted
"Who do I have to kill?" Fangs said
"Archie cheated on V." I say quietly to them.
After a while of just talking and friend v announces,
"You know what! I'm done! I need a good drink and I need to find the best party in town!"
"Are you sure V we could drink here?" Betty asks
"Nope no I need to party a big party, New York style!" She wipes her tears away and we all go back to our rooms to change to go partying I guess. V moves back with Betty and my room is empty again. I decide to stay sober for the sake of the rest of them
