Baby project: a bughead story

Betty pov
And I kissed him back.

He pulls away and cups my face, "I've missed that."
"Me too. I've missed you and us." I reply happily.
"I love you Betty."
"I love you Jughead. And I'm sorry for everything; yelling, cutting, hiding all of that."
"I forgive you Betty Cooper."

He helps me finish up cleaning and we go back to the pembrooke, and lay in bed.
"How's this going to work?" I say
"I will text you everyday, I will visit every weekend, I will work on school days for money for you and baby, you can't be working all the time."
"Promise?"
"Promise."

Jug says he'll stay for a bit of tomorrow before he has to leave, again. It'll be hard to let him go constantly. But he should be off school when baby comes in August.

We just stay together all night, not wanting the time for jug to leave to come.

Next morning:
We both get up and go to the kitchen to make breakfast.
As I start making cereal, I feel jugs hand hug me from behind,"hey beautiful!"
"Hey." I say turning around to give him a kiss.
"OMG!" I hear
"Yes! It's finally happened! Ronnie you owe me $10!" Reggie says
"Did you bet on us?" Jug says, still hugging me
"Maybe....." Veronica says
"How did this happen guys?" Reggie says
"Yesterday we just spoke and it just happened." I say smiling

A little later the time comes, when Jughead has to leave me. We are now outside the pembrooke, like before, when he left me for months.

What if he leaves me, and doesn't come back? What if I'm left to raise the baby alone? Would he do that to me?

"Well see you in a week!" He says hugging me and giving me a kiss
"See you soon jug, love you."
"Love you too Betts."
Betts he hasn't called me that in a while. He gets in his motorcycle and starts it looks back at me one last time before he drives away.

Jughead POV
A little later
I just got back and I find Abby sitting on my bed, painting her nails.
"Omg your back babe how was the trip to see your dad?"
"I went to see Betty and it was great, goodbye Abby!" I decide not to tell her me and Betty are back because she might try to drive a wedge between us.
"Why did you see Betty, aren't you broken up?"
"Yeah, we just spoke," I'm not telling her about baby either, "now can you leave please!"
"Hey jug how was the trip?" Toni says walking in and seeing me and Abby on the bed, "what the hell is going on here?"
"She was just leaving, I don't know why she's here?"
"Errr because I wanted to welcome my boyfriend home?" Abby says
"Very funny Abby, Betty is the only girl for him and hopefully soon he'll realise that again!" Toni says, seeing right through Abby

She scoffs and storms out the room, "oh my lord thank you toni, she wasn't leaving, oh can you not tell her about the baby and me and Betty are back together."
"Sure that's fin-wait what! Your back!"
"Oh yeah! We spoke and everything then I was apologising for everything one minute the next we are kissing!"
"Damn, it's good the baby's parents are together, but what about when it's born, with you here and her there?"
"I'm still trying to work that out. Hey wanna see the baby?"
"Obviously!" I show her the sonogram

Abby POV
Jughead kicked me out, crap. I storm out but stay with my ear leaning in the door and can hear their conversation
"Oh my lord thank you Toni, she wasn't leaving, oh can you not tell her about the baby and me and Betty together."

HE SAID WHAT! SHES PREGNANT! WITH HIS BABY! AND THEY ARE TOGETHER AGAIN! OOO BETTY YOU WATCH YOUR BACK! IM COMING FOR YOU AND THE BABY!

I can't hear anymore I run away back to my room, about to burst from anger. Oh betty Cooper will get everything coming for her, I just need to find people willing to help.

Jughead POV
After Toni leaves, I decide to call Betty.
"Hey beautiful, how you and baby doing?"
"I mean I'm in sweats eating ice cream from the tub and watching a romantic movie, I wouldn't exactly call this beautiful?"
"I would call you beautiful in anything."
"Well thanks for that and we are good, how about you? Abby being annoying, does she know about baby and us?"
"No I won't tell her about baby, she'll go ballistic and I won't tell her about is because she'll start lying saying, 'ooo me and jug did this and that' and try to drive a wedge between us, at least if I don't tell her, she feels like she won't have to try as hard because you aren't here."
"Yeah that makes a lot of sense, well I'm going to finish this sad romantic, and then do my evening shift at pops."
"I really don't like you doing evening shifts alone, please text me when you come back to make sure your safe!"
"I will, don't worry, talk later, love you!"
"Love you too!"
