So during the Revolution, America did not have states, she was Thirteen Colonies, there was no states. 

France had got into a fight with Britain (Causing the 7 year war) and had lost the fight, she was angry over it to offered America help. She then helped America the best she could before having a fight with her older sister ( First French Empire) and fighting with her, America won either way. 

After the war, America had been making breakfast when Carolina (One person) decided to adventure off (Never a good idea for a 5 year old) she had made her way to the woods, which was bad because Britain had been teaching Canada archery. She didn't notice and when she started walking between Britain and the target, she was shot. The last thing she saw was Canada's horrified face and Britain running up to her. America later found her body sitting on a rock with flowers around it, Carolina had her hands on her chest and a arrow through her chest. America had cried for two months after the incident, she lost family but never her own child. Then she got pregnant with North and South Carolina, naming them after her. 

Confederate had helped America with the revolution, he didn't make a appearance, but helped her with ideas and plots. 

D.C can remember every detail of the Revolution, which scares some states when she starts talking about it.

Britain had been half mad half proud of America, being one of little people to win against him, he was disappointed when France had helped her, his own wife.
