Daniel dropped me at the gates to the pack house then drove off sharply. As I watched the dust settle the door opened behind me. "Amy," Harry's voice was cold in my ear. Turning round I walked up the steps and straight past him, then on into the living room. Bea was there with Felix happily chatting but the air felt tense. I noticed that one of the vases that sit above the fireplace had a crack down the front of it. Harry's hands clasped tightly on my shoulders "my love I missed you," he whispered in my ear. Bea nudged Felix and the pair of them went into the kitchen.
"Harry can you let go of my shoulders?" I asked shrugging him off. He loosened his grip and I stepped away, turning to face him.
He scowled down at me "did you resolve what was so important you couldn't even answer the phone to me?"
"I was busy and no it's not resolved. The attacks will get worse and we are all potential targets, so yes it was important enough to ignore your phone calls" I groaned. Placing my satchel on the sofa, I then walked towards the kitchen.
He grabbed my wrist spinning me into his arms "I missed you" he repeated. This time he held me so our faces were inches from each other. "Come upstairs my love," he yanked me along to the stairs then put me in front of him.
"Harry please don't do this, I'm not in the mood and..." he forced me to face him. "C-can we not just cuddle?" I stammered, my hands now shaking beside me.
His expression softened as he hissed "if you don't cooperate you can stay up there on your own." I didn't get a chance to protest as the front door of the pack house opened. "Up now," he growled slightly shoving me up a few steps before going back towards the living room.
My legs gave way and I slumped down on the stairs on the edge of tears as I heard voices coming from the living room. "Harry where is she?" It was Daniel and he sounded upset.
"She's none of your concern," Harry snapped back.
"I'd watch that tone," Alistair was here "I'm concerned my daughter isn't happy or safe here. Do you mind if I check on her?" I didn't hear anything else until Alistair was stood in front of me reaching down to help me to my feet. "You need to tell me right now if you want to stay or not," he whispered low.
"I'm fine, I'll stay here" he frowned guiding me back to Harry.
"For the record" he announced "I'm not happy about the way you seem to be treating her, but she says she wants to stay so I'll respect her wishes." He gave me a tight hug whispering "call me no matter the hour I'll come for you," then he said his goodbyes and left.
Harry then took me up to the bedroom and locked me inside. I watched out the window as he argued with Daniel briefly and left in his car down the street as fast as he could.
