The four of us, Puck helped by Alistair and Daniel helping me walked down the steps of St. Paul's cathedral, the pack along with Puck's friends were stood outside as well as a few agents who had cordoned off the roads leading to the cathedral. I felt light headed as Daniel sat me down on a metal bench. My stomach had tightened a lot since sitting down. Daniel had stood up and was waving over Alistair, "I think she needs looking over" he whispered. Alistair nodded heading over to a couple of the agents now securing the cathedral itself.
"I'm fine," I mumbled. Daniel simply knelt in front of me and shook his head. I couldn't argue with him. He was looking down at my right ankle frowning as a paramedic agent came jogging over with Alistair.
They got to work on my ankle which I now could see had a gash down the outside. "How are you feeling? Any nausea? Headache?" The paramedic asked after dressing the gash.
I was about to say no when I looked at Daniel, his face said it all. Giving in I was honest "I feel sick." Daniel sat beside me as the paramedic asked a few more questions, "are you currently taking any medication?"
"No," I answered as I gripped the edge of the bench.
"And are you pregnant?" He asked.
"Uh yes," I whispered. Daniel squeezed my hand reassuringly.
"Okay, I'll give you this" he handed me a white pill, "it's an anti sickness pill." He pulled out a bottle of water handing it to me. "I don't think it's worth taking you to base probably best for you to get home and sleep in your own bed."
"Thank you Mike," Alistair said shaking his hand. Mike the paramedic then headed over to help with Puck who was waving off any help, practically growling at people. Now looking down at me he smiled softly "so you're pregnant?"
