Looking up at the clock on the wall it was coming up to 5pm. I knew I wouldn't get much more done so packed the files back into my satchel, tucking it under the desk. Then picking up the tray of food I made my way to the kitchen where I found Bea and Eugene chatting happily with the small television on in the corner. I placed the tray by the sink before turning to the television.
The news was on, there was nothing out of the ordinary being reported. That was until Harry's image appeared. The report continued "and it seems Prince Harry has found the love of his life, pictured with the actress Megan Markle the couple seem infatuated with one another as they enjoyed lunch out on the town." My heart sank as the photographs of them flicked on the screen. I staggered backwards into the kitchen sink, my breathing became shallow and I felt like I'd throw up. Bea was quick to my side while Eugene switched the television off. The two of them nodded to one another and Eugene glided into the living room where Bea began leading me.
Once through the doorway Bea passed me into Daniel's arms where I noticed I had tears soaking my cheeks, but no sound left my lips. "What happened?"
"That idiotic bastard is flaunting the woman he's sleeping with all over the news," Bea was fuming. Pacing back and forth around room before slumping on the sofa.
Daniel looked down at me and whispered "what can I do for you?"
Holding onto his shirt I mumbled "I want my dad." I then buried my face into his chest.
I heard muffled dialling then Daniel said "hey any chance you can come over. Amy needs you." I could hear Alistair reply but not exactly what he said before Daniel said "okay see you soon." He then scooped me up in his arms, "Bea ring the others. I don't want Harry anywhere near this house, as far as I'm concerned he's gone too far already and this just shows his true colours. Amy is our priority," he stated.
Pushing on his chest I made him let me down "you can't make him stay away."
Frowning at me all three said in unison "what!?"
"You can not make him stay away," I repeated stepping away from Daniel.
"We heard you hun, it's just what he's done to you so far indicates he's unfit to be around you" Bea spoke softly but directly.
"I know but he's still my mate, he's still the alpha" this earned a low growl from Daniel. "I have to hope this was a mistake he won't make again."
