Waking with a little less pain than before. Although my heart was aching part of me knew for certain that I was going to be stronger when things got better. My stomach grumbled so I climbed out of bed and absent mindlessly pulled on a pair of Daniel's boxer shorts. I caught my reflection in his mirror and couldn't help the smile that grew on my face. Shaking my head I tried to contain myself, my heart and body needed time before I let myself relax into what felt right. Not only that I wasn't sure I could be with Daniel, wolves only got one chance right?
Taking a deep breath I slowly limped out of the bedroom and down to stairs. About halfway down bea's voice echoed through the house, "get out of my kitchen!"
Next came Felix an Eugene laughing loudly before Daniel "okay okay, I'll go see if she's awake." His chuckle was comforting. Walking into the corridor our eyes met when he looked up the stairs. "Hey I was just coming to...uh you look really good like that."
Blushing I mumbled "thanks," he held out a hand which I took and stumbled down into him. "Uh I hope you don't mind about your clothes, although I can't remember putting the shirt on. I was going to mention it before but I kind of didn't want to."
Leaning so he could whisper in my ear he chuckled "I'm glad you didn't."
Stopping in the corridor short of the kitchen "I do think we need to talk about whatever is happening between us. Like wolves don't get a second..."
He stepped in front of me and cupped my face with one hand, "we will talk but for now I think you should enjoy your freedom."
"I have to agree with you on that, but.." I didn't get to finish as Bea popped her head out of the kitchen, "come on get in here." I giggled letting Daniel guide me into the kitchen. As we walked in we were greeted by twenty odd people, the entire pack was here. "Uh, what is everyone doing here?" My face was blushing bright red.
"Oh shit," Daniel quickly pushed me back out of the kitchen. "Im sorry I was distracted, uh why don't you go get ready. I'll save you some pancakes."
"Wait I don't think I have anything else left to wear..." as though she was listening Eugene appeared grabbing my hand.
"I got you covered, come on" she helped me up the stairs to the room her and Bea shared. She pulled out an outfit on a hanger from the wardrobe. "Had a feeling you'd need something and well you know how I love a bit of shopping." She presented me with a strappy white top topped with a loose thin dark blue jumper which I could see would hang off one shoulder. There was also a pair of grey jeans "I thought of you when I saw it all." She smiled handing it to me and bringing my clean underwear before leaving me to it.
