Back at the base it was clear something was wrong, very wrong. Agents rushed about some almost ran into me as I jogged my way up to meeting room A. Alistair had text me on the way over to meet them up there. As I climbed the metal stairs in the main cavern I saw the director arming himself. This was really bad.
I began running along the long corridor and tumbled into meeting room A. Alistair was stood with Becca looking over some maps and on the screen behind them was a family tree. He quickly switched the screen to a video link to a base in the Middle East, I think camp David and ushered me over. I stood close to him as he began explaining the situation.
"There has been a huge movement of Isis men and women go from Syria right across every boarder they have. I need you to get there as soon as to immobilise the threat. There is also word that the Isis men and women in the U.K. Are mobilising but nothing has been detected as yet."
"So what do you need me to do?"
"Stay put. The same residue energy was found in one of their abandoned bases as was found round you when we found you all those years ago." I shivered, I'd read the file over and over again. I had hundreds of little cuts with that dark stuff in them.
"But I'm not a baby anymore. I can fight," I protested. In one swift move he handcuffed me to the chair behind him. "What are you doing!?" I yelled at him.
"Just stay here, I'll be back." Alistair left the room.
"Don't leave me here!" I screamed. Becca frowned leaving just behind Alistair. "Fuck! Come back!" I took a deep breath and cleared my head.
'Harry' I whispered. 'Harry,' my inner wolf was crying out. She didn't like being trapped.
'Amy? Where are you?'
'I'm at the base. There's trouble. Alistair handcuffed me in the briefing room to protect me.'
'Stay put im on my way.'"Alistair! Where is she!?" I could hear Harry marching his way down the corridor towards me.
"She is safe! Stop this, you're being ridiculous!" I heard a loud slam and Alistair groaning. "God dam it."
"Amy!?" Harry yelled out.
"I'm in here!" I yelled back. He threw the door open and ran over tearing the cuffs into pieces. "He was trying to protect me, please calm down."
"Come on, I'm taking you back to the pack house." I put my hands on his chest, his heart was beating very fast. "What's wrong?"
"I want to go to your place, I don't want to be around the pack right now." He stared at me confused but happily obliged taking me to his apartment.
