Beautiful arrays of emerald greens gave the room its scheme, my favourite shades. The queen sized bed with a shimmering green quilt centred the room with a tall back bored. As I walked slowly round I realised that the back bored was in fact a bookcase that faced the nook in the window, which now was covered by huge soft cushions. A wardrobe made of oak stood against the wall opposite the bathroom door and on the wall above a desk was a nail but nothing there.
I cocked my head a little confused as Daniel came up behind me and explained. "I have a little surprise for there, it kind of involves the whole pack. All will make sense later," he entwined his fingers with mine over my stomach as I leaned back into him. "The bookcase has all your favourites, Alistair did help me with that and Bea and him sorted some clothes so it can be more like home for you."
"I love it," I breathed taken by surprise just how different the room now felt. We stood silently for a few moments before I turned round to face him. "I don't know how to thank you properly," I smiled.
"Your smile is all the thanks I need," he bent down aiming for a kiss but for some reason out of my control I flinched, backing out of his arms. Frowning with worry he stammered "I..I'm so sorry, I...."
"No it's fine, I want you to kiss me I just..." the pain Harry had inflicted on me after Daniel had kissed me before came back. Like fire all over my body I wanted to scream out. The cooling sensation of Daniel's arms round me swiftly soothed me and I found myself leaning into his chest crying silently.
"We will get through the past," he whispered in my ear. I believed in his words. I believed that these horrid reactions like a disease would be cured.
