More Than Human

Chapter 6

I snuggled up to Harry for the rest of the afternoon, glad to be away from all that paperwork. He'd disappeared for 20 minutes only to return with what he called 'new' pizza. I had laughed at him as he tried feeding me a slice as we lay on the bed. The box was now laying on the floor by the bed.
It was getting late into the afternoon when Daniel came up with news. He didn't look happy and neither to Harry the moment he walked in.
"The threat was traced back to a small extremist group. Government agents have been deployed to deal with them." He stood with his arms behind his back by the little table.
"Guess I can go back to the base now."
"Thank you Daniel." Daniel turned on his heel and left us. "You can stay." I pecked his cheek and smiled at him.
"I know but I should get back," I got up from the bed and he groaned. "Don't look at me like that." I crawled onto the bed and straddled him. He growled up at me wrapping his arms around me. "Harry," I warned.
"Stay the night, please?"
"Harry I should go but" he was staring at me with puppy dog eyes, "fine. Let me ring Alistair to say I'm staying." He grinned at me and kissed me. I pushed him off climbing out of the bed. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and rang Alistair. After a few rings he picked up.
"Hey Amy, everything ok?" He sounded tired.
"Yeah, the threat has been resolved. Um I'm gonna stay the night with Harry."
"Ok, do you need anything?"
"No I'm good."
"I'll see you tomorrow."
"See ya." I hung up and sat back on the bed. "There you go, I'm all yours."
Harry crawled behind me and hung his legs either side of me. Then wrapped his arms around my waist. "So daddy was ok with you being with a guy? Wow he's changed." I playfully hit his leg.
"He doesn't worry when it's you."
"I feel honoured he trusts me with you." He kissed my neck and trailed up to my ear. "It's taking a lot not to mark you here and now."
"Then why don't you?" I moved round to face him.
"You know why," I kissed his noes teasing him wanting more from him. "I promise in a week you'll be marked and mine forever." He kissed my lips with increased passion. His hand slipping behind my head holding me closer. I smiled into him.
Loud knocking on the door broke us apart. "Stay right here." Harry didn't have time to move when Felix came in. "What do you want?" He growled with his eyes clued to my own.
"Um I just needed to confirm with you that thing for you know..." Harry jumped up and pushed Felix out the door slamming it shut behind himself. I was left stunned sat in his sheets.
Harry was gone so long I fell asleep in his bed before he returned. I was curled up half asleep when he slipped himself round me. His strong arms wrapped round me causing me to completely relax and fall into a deep sleep.
