"Alistair!" I yelled hanging off the side of the car. "Hurry up, I'm gonna be late." The dark green gown was getting caught on the car as I swung about. He came round the car and shoved me inside hooking my dress up. "No need to be so rough," I moaned fastening myself in.
"Oh yeah wouldn't want your mate to get angry." I punched his arm as he settled himself next to me.
"You know we're not together together."
"Oh yeah, the two of you are inseparable and when you are apart you're agitated by everything. Trust me, I've known you since you were a baby." I scowled at him. He was right but no way was I going to admit it. "We won't be late."
"Do you think the card I got is alright and the present?" I asked nerves setting in.
"He'll love the crystal wolf pair and he's turning 29, a big card with 29 on it is perfect." He took hold of my hand, "stop worrying. He will love it because it's from you."
"Don't be so soppy, it doesn't suit you." I said pulling my hand away from him.
"Oh yeah?" At 28 I stuck my tongue out at him. We emerged from the base exit into blazing summer sun on the west London country roads.

Alistair stayed in the car while I went to knock on the pack house door. The modern house stood where the original London pack house had stood. Unfortunately there was an attack on the original pack which resulted in the house burning down. A bigger loss was the records of the old pack. Not much was left of their archives and even the world council of werewolves didn't have much to go on.
I tapped the black wooden door ever so quietly, as not to disturb the party inside. Part of me wanted that door not to open. I looked inside the present bag at the carefully wrapped gift, he wasn't going to like it. Before I could turn and run Felix, Harry's third in command opened the door with confetti all over his head and shoulders. He looked me up and down then grinned.
"Hey sexy," he crooned before being pushed gently by Daniel, Harry's second in command.
"Leave her alone," the threatening tone was unnecessary but I was glad he had dealt with him, "afternoon Luna."
"You don't need to call me that."
"Wether Harry and you are 'together' or not doesn't change the fact you are our Luna. By the way you do look good in that, shouldn't tease him like that." Daniel stood aside so I could get into the house. I walked past him and into the front room where the whole pack was gathered.
I could sense Harry but I couldn't see him. Daniel swept past me opening a can of fosters. He joined Bea and Eugene on the couch, they waved for me to join them but two hands came to rest on my hips. I turned round to find those hands belonged to Harry. His red mop of hair falling a little over his eyes.
"You look beautiful," he said his hands still on my hips.
"I got you something." He took my hand and led me into the study down the hall. He shut the door behind us and I handed him the bag.
Carefully he pulled the crystal figure out of the tissue paper. He grinned placing it on the edge of his desk. "You like it?"
"Love it." The two wolves twisted round each other in a playful loving embrace. It was truly a beautiful figure that was unique as much as its beauty. Harry stepped back towards me. I knew he wanted to kiss me and I wanted to kiss him but I still didn't feel totally ready. His hands were back on my hips, "I'm sorry."
"What you sorry about?" I asked a little blush starting to surface.
"You're not ready?" He questioned. I felt bad because we were close and I felt the need to be near him. "Did I do something wrong?"
"No, no of course not." I had my hands on his chest, he was getting stronger everyday. "It's just, oh I don't know. I feel ready but I also don't feel ready."
"It's ok I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer. I won't push you to do anything."
