After eating till I almost was bursting, everyone migrated to the living room. I didn't feel like spending anymore time in a load room so slipped away to the alpha bedroom. It had a different feel to last night. There was a soft tap on the door as Daniel quietly asked "are you okay?"
I remained facing the bed as I answered "am I doing something wrong? Should I not have defended Alistair's actions?"
Hearing Daniel sigh then step closer, he gently turned me round. "Don't ever let Harry question who you choose to defend," he held my forearms gently. "Don't ever let him make you question anything you do or say, as far as I'm concerned you are my Alpha not him." Pulling me into a hug I relaxed a little feeling supported by Daniel.
"Do you mind?" Daniel let me go and we both looked to the bedroom door where now Harry stood arms crossed and a possessive look in his eyes.
"I was just leaving," Daniel stood his ground glancing back to me "if you need anything let me know." He marched past Harry closing the door behind himself.
Harry's eyes bore into me "what was that?"
"He was just looking out for me," I turned back to the bed about to climb under the sheets.
Harry's hand clasped on my wrist tightly, "that's all it better have been. I'm sorry about earlier it's just since you said you were ready for me to mark you my wolf has been a little uncontrollable."
Whipping my hand away I climbed in the bed "that's no excuse."
He groaned pursing his lips "okay. Sleep fine then," he stormed out of the room. I got that he was pissed off but Daniel was right, I'd done nothing wrong. Moments later he stormed back in having thought of a better comeback "Amy I am sorry." He sat beside me on the bed "please don't be upset with me."
I rolled over to face him "it's fine, honestly." Whatever this was I didn't like it and didn't want us to be like this. "Come to bed and we'll start again in the morning." He nodded then stripped to his boxers before climbing into the bed beside me. "You could have got in the other side."
"I know but I wanted to be close to you," he nuzzled into my neck and pulled my body into his.
