Wisps of cigarette smoke floated up from the butt I'd just dabbed on the railings of the fire escape. Usually I'd enjoy moonshine's atmosphere but tonight felt off. A chuckle escaped my lips, my Shakespeare would have laughed at me too for moping like this on a perfectly good evening. I was momentarily startled by the click of the back door of moonshine. My ears twitched, my pixie senses feeling something very wrong. As the door clicked shut I heard the voice of Amy's mate, prince Harry. He was talking on the phone.
"Yes it's done," he spoke with way too much pride. "Yeah the pack will be vulnerable, yeah but I'd wait a few days. Not that I care," he chuckled. I watched as he walked to the end of the alleyway and stopped. "Do what you want and leave me out of it, that was the deal. Hope I don't hear from you ever again." Hanging up he stuffed his phone into his pocket and walked calmly out of the alleyway.
I pulled out my own phone. Who ever it was the prince was talking to it didn't sound good. I wasn't going to sit on this. For the first time in hundreds of years I needed to intervene.
