Sorting through all my belongings to get ready to go back to York, I started to hum Union J’s new song to myself without even realising.
“I take it that you like the song then?” a voice laughed.
Looking up from my bag, I saw Jaymi, Josh and JJ stood in the doorway grinning to me. “Oh my God, I’ve missed you so much,” I giggled as I ran across to room to them, giving them all a huge group hug.
“We’ve missed you too,” JJ smiled.
“But someone has missed you even more than us,” Josh said.
“George,” I sighed, going back over to my bag to put the rest of my stuff in it.
“You really need to sort things out with him, Sam,” Jaymi said. “He’s lost without you.”
“We miss you two being together,” JJ smiled. “You made him so happy and we miss seeing you both so happy.”
“It’s not gonna happen though.”
“Why not?” Josh asked. “You love him still, don’t you?”
“I love him more than anything, but that’s not the point.”
“How isn’t it?” Jaymi asked. “You love him. He loves you. Whatever is wrong - you two can sort it out. If it’s worth fighting for then fight for it and don’t give up until you’re back to how you used to be in the very beginning.”
“It’s not that easy though,” I groaned, picking up my suitcase.
Josh, JJ and Jaymi looked at each other as if they were conspiring a plan.
“What?” I asked, getting suspicious.
“Nothing,” JJ smiled.
“It’s obvious nothing we say will make you see sense so we might as well just give up,” Josh sighed.
“Thank-you.”
“Before you go back to York though, can we hang out for one last time?” Jaymi asked.
Checking the clock, I nodded. “I’ve got an hour until Michael gets here so I suppose we could for a bit,” I smiled.
“We might as well go back to our room,” Jaymi laughed, looking at all the clothes scattered across the sofa.
I looked unsure at them all.
“Don’t worry,” JJ smiled. “George isn’t there.”
“Come on,” Josh grinned as he linked arms with me and pulled me out of the dressing room and down the corridor towards where their dressing room was.
“I really have missed you guys,” I smiled as we all walked closely together.
“This thing between you and George has really affected all of us, not just you two,” JJ said as we got outside their dressing room door.
“That’s why we’re doing this,” Jaymi smiled slyly.
Before I knew what was going on, Josh opened the door while Jaymi pushed me into the room. He pushed me further enough into the pitch black room then rushed back out of the door, shutting it behind him. As I stood in the darkness, I heard a key turn in the door. “Unlock the door now!” I demanded, fumbling around the wall to find the light switch.
“We’re not unlocking it until you two fall back in love with each other,” I heard Josh mumble from the other side of the door.
“What?” I asked. “I never fell out of love with him.”
