“Sammy,” a voice said from the door behind me as I sat in Lisa’s office, reading through fan mail.

Spinning around on the chair, I saw Justin stood in the doorway, smiling at me. “Oh hey,” I grinned.

He walked in and sat down on a chair on the other side of the desk, closing the door behind him. “What you doing?” he asked.

“Fan mail,” I smiled. “People really like the song.”

“I know,” he grinned.

“Anyway, what did you want?” I asked, putting a pile of letters down on the desk.

“I’ve been thinking a lot recently and I wanted to ask you something,” he said.

“What’s that?”

“Would you want to be my support act on my European tour this summer?” he asked.

“What, wait, what?” I asked in amazement.

“Sammy,” he smiled. “You’re an incredibly talented artist and I couldn’t think of anyone else that I’d want to have opening the show.”

“I don’t know..” I hesitated.

“I know it’s a lot to ask but you’d be able to bring Katy along and..”

I interrupted Justin mid-sentence. “And George..?”

“And him,” Justin smiled. “So what do you think?”

“I’m not sure,” I paused. “I’ll think about it.”

“Good,” he grinned.

“If you asked me two years ago, I’d have said yes without any hesitation but it’s difficult now.”

“Because you’ve got a family now,” he smiled. “It’s fine. Just think about it.”

“I will,” I smiled.

“I’ll leave you to get back to your fan mail.”

As Justin left the office, I sunk back into the chair, trying to take in what he had just asked me. If I didn’t have Katy or George then I would have accepted his offer there and then – no doubt about it. But that was the thing – I did have Katy and George. I know George had left me to do the Union J European tour but that was different – it was before we even knew that Katy was going to be born. I sat in the office, trying to figure out what to do but it was no use: I had all these alternative options but they all came at a price.

Opening up the front door, I called in to see if anybody was home.

“We’re in here,” I heard George call back from the lounge as I dumped my bag down beside the front door.

Walking into the lounge, I saw George sat down with Katy laid in between his lefs. The second she saw me, her tiny face lit up and a huge smile appeared across it. “Hello,” I grinned as George passed her over to me.

“I’ve been trying to teach her how to talk,” George smiled up at me.

“She’s five months old,” I laughed, slouching down on the sofa opposite George as I cradled Katy.

“Never too young,” he winked.

“Is daddy being silly?” I asked Katy as I rocked her back and forth in my arms.

“Anyway, I was thinking we could just have a movie night tonight,” George smiled. “Me, you and Katy.”

“Sounds great,” I said, looking up at George with a huge grin on my face.

“Right, me and Katy will go out and get some popcorn and a new movie while you relax,” George smiled, taking Katy from my arms.

“Sounds amazing,” I giggled.

“We’ll be like an hour,” George smiled, kissing me quickly.

“Missing you both already,” I grinned as George carried Katy out of the lounge and towards the front door.

After a few moments, I heard the front door shut and the whole apartment went into complete silence. Sat on the sofa by myself, I knew there was no way I could leave them to go on tour – no matter how much I wanted to do the tour, I couldn’t leave them at home, especially considering the fact that Katy was growing up so fast and I didn’t want to miss a minute of her growing up.
