“Are you sure you’re okay to fly?” George asked as we got out the car in the airport’s car park. “We can always fly out tomorrow so we can go get medical permission.”
“George,” I grinned, opening the boot up to get our luggage out. “Stop stressing out. I’m fine to fly until 32 weeks – I checked with Doctor Carter the other day.”
George smiled at me as he lifted our suitcase out of the car and slammed the boot door shut. “Okay.”
“Where are we even meeting everyone?” I asked as we began to pull the suitcases along the walkway towards the airport’s entrance.
“Check-in desk,” George smiled.
“Chloe said she’s gonna come with Josh, JJ and Elle.”
“Jaymi and Olly were coming straight from Luton so they should already be here,” George added as I rummaged through my bag to get all the documents that we’d need to check in to our flight to the South of France.
“You do realise that this will probably be our last holiday alone for like eighteen years,” I laughed as we walked out of the car park and into the 6am sunshine.
“That’s why we’re gonna make it sh-amazing,” he winked, taking hold of my suitcase’s handle and pulling it across the road for me as I still rummaged around my bag to find the passports.

“Champagne?” the air hostess asked us as we sat on the plane.
As everyone else took a glass of the sparkling champagne from the tray which she was carrying, I debated on whether to take a glass.
“Sammy,” JJ smiled. “Aren’t you gonna have a glass? You never say no to champagne.”
I looked at him and everyone else as they looked at me. “Champagne makes me feel funny when I fly,” I lied.
Jaymi, Olly, JJ, Elle and Josh all looked at me with a glance that showed they were unconvinced with my lie. “It’s true,” George smiled, trying to get rid of the suspicion. “She was ill when we went to New York because of having champagne on the flight there.”
I smiled at George as everyone else drank their champagne, watching the inflight movie.

The second we walked out of the airport and into the warm heat of South France, I grinned to myself. We rushed over to the taxi bay and jumped into the only available taxi that there was. Josh gave the driver the hotel’s address as we all put our luggage on the spare seat next to JJ and Elle. The taxi drove right past the beach front. Everything looked so beautiful in the bright sunshine that was beaming down in the deep blue sky. We finally arrived at our hotel and checked in. Jaymi and Olly were sharing a room. JJ and Elle were sharing a room. Josh, George, Chloe and I were all sharing a triple room suite. The minute we walked into the room, I collapsed onto the bed, shattered after a long day of travelling.

Lying on the beach, the sun was glaring down on my skin. “This is perfect,” I grinned to myself.
“Not as perfect as this view,” George joked cheekily.
I grabbed my towel from the sand next to me and used it to cover myself. “Ha!” I grinned, blocking the sun out of my eyes as I looked at him.
“Sam,” Chloe called to me as she ran across the sand to me. “Let’s go in the sea!”
“Okay,” I grinned as I sat up and folded my towel up, placing it back on the sand next to the sun lounger where I was sat.
