“So, what do you think of your dress then?” Lisa asked me as I walked out of the meeting room and into her office where she was sat waiting for me to put on the dress she had chosen for me to wear.

“It’s amazing,” I said in shock as I looked at my reflection in the mirror.

“I didn’t know if you’d like it,” Lisa grinned.

You could tell just by looking at her that she was relieved that I liked it. I didn’t just like it, in fact, I loved it! It was a long, white silk dress with one side of the waist covered in clear jewels. It was simple, yet stunning. I had to sit in the hair stylist’s chair for three gruelling hours before hand to have my make-up and hair done, but looking in the mirror at it now made it worth it. Everything about my outfit, hair and make-up was mesmerising. I had never been to an award ceremony before where I wasn’t a guest of someone else’s – this time I was nominated with Union J for my first ever award. Starstruck was up for Best British Single at the BRIT Awards and tonight was the night of the awards ceremony.

“Are you ready?” Lisa’s assistant asked as he popped his head around the door.

“She’s ready,” Lisa grinned, taking one final look at me. “You look gorgeous, Sammy. You really do.”

“I just hope we win this award now,” I smiled, looking at my reflection for one last time in the mirror before making my way out of the room, followed by Lisa and her assistant.

Walking through the Sony offices was hilarious. My usual attire for meetings at the offices was a hoodie and jeans so walking through with a £500 designer dress on with matching heels was slightly different to normal. As we finally got to the lobby, I saw a black, stretched limo parked outside with the boys stood around talking to each other in their suits.

“They look so beautiful,” I giggled to Lisa as she walked beside me.

“You all do,” she smiled.

As we got outside, all four of them stopped talking, turned to look at me and smiled huge smiles at me.

“Sammy,” Josh grinned. “You look perfect.”

“You really do,” JJ smiled.

“You look incredible,” Jaymi said, opening the limo door so I could get in it.

“Thanks,” I giggled nervously as I got in, trying to hide the fact that I was blushing like crazy.

“Look after her boys,” Lisa smiled as they got in the limo after me. “She’s still my little baby remember.”

As the limo door shut, the chauffeur began to drive off. “Was Katy okay when you dropped her off at your mum’s?” I asked George after a few moments of silence.

“Yeah,” he smiled. “She just fell straight asleep.”

“So Sammy,” Jaymi said, interrupting the small talk. “Are you nervous to perform?”

I nodded. “So nervous.”

“You’ll do great,” JJ smiled. “Just forget the fact that millions of people will be watching on TVs all around the world.”

“JJ,” Josh laughed.

“That’s made me even more nervous,” I said.

“I’m joking,” JJ grinned. “You’re gonna do fine. Just don’t mess up.”

“Great advice there from Agony Aunt JJ,” Jaymi joked.

“This will be the first time we’ve ever heard the song,” Josh smiled.
