So I was watching The Little Mermaid last night and thought of this. Do not laugh at me:p

Ariel’s POV

I watched as the handsome man and his friends pass by on his boat again. I was tanning on a rock hiding my tail underneath the water. “Damn girl, you are fine.” One of his friends yelled at me. “Alan, shut up. I am sorry for his behavior miss. Do you need assistance?” the handsome tall man asked. “No, I am fine. Thank you though.” I said. “The name is Austin. I think you are beautiful.” I blushed. “I am Ariel. Nice to meet you but I must be going. Enjoy your day.” I said. “Will I see you again?” Austin asked. “I hope so.” I said. I slipped into the water and swam away from their view. I then went underwater and swam home. “What have I said about going up to the human world?” Sebastianna said. “I can’t help it. I love the sun and who cares if my father kills me. I am 21.” I said. Sebastianna shook her head and we continued our journey home. “You are always so crabby.” I said. “Nice pun.” She said pinching my tail. I pushed her away. I saw my father and he glared at me. “You were up there again. You’re glowing.” He said. “I am sorry daddy.” I said. “Sorry doesn’t cut it.” He said. He started getting angry and messing with the sea. “Dad, please calm down. You are gonna hurt people.” I said. He didn’t care. I swam quickly to the surface and saw Austin and his friends in trouble. Their boat crashed and Austin was unconscious. I swam for him and pulled him up. I helped him back to land. I brushed his hair out of his face. “Austin, please wake up.” I said. He coughed and started opening his eyes. “Ariel.” He said. I slipped back into the ocean and saw my angry father. “Please daddy. I think I love him.” I said. “Humans don’t know how to love.” He said. “Yes, they do. I can prove it.” I said. “I will give you three days. If that boy loves you than you can stay on land and have proved me wrong.” He said. I nodded and he moved his triton and gave me legs. Sebastianna and Flounder helped me to land. Sebastianna scuttled off and brought me some type of cloth. She covered my body and told me to sit. I saw Austin sitting up. He looked over and saw me. He looked worried. He ran over to me. “Ariel, are you all right?” he asked. I nodded trying to stand up but fell due to the fact I barely know how to use legs. He picked me up. “Let me help.” He said. “Thank you.” I said. He smiled and carried me to this strange thing. “Do you need help getting in the car?” he asked. It is a car. I nodded. He helped me in. “Where do you live?” he asked. “I am not from around here.” I said sadly. “Oh, well I can bring you back to my place to clean up. I can have my friend, Tino, bring over some of his girlfriend’s clothes for you to borrow.” He said. “That would be lovely. Thank you very much.” I said. “Do you have anyone you need to call? Like your parents?” he asked. I looked out the window and sighed. “My father is very angry with me right now and I lost my mother when I was young in a boating accident.” I said. “I am so sorry.” He said holding my hand. I felt a spark. “I lost my mother too when I was young. I know how you must feel.” He said. We arrived at what I believe his home. “Well come on in. I know it isn’t much but it is what I call home.” He said leading me since I finally got use to the legs. “Jen and Tino should be over soon with the clothes. This is the bathroom. I am sure you would like to shower. My ex girlfriend left her soaps here so you can use them. I will send Jen in with the clothes when she gets here.” He said. I nodded and he shut the door. It took me five minutes to figure out how to turn on what he called a shower. I stepped in and it felt amazing. I washed my hair and body and I heard the door open. “Hello?” I said nervous. “Hi, I’m Jen. I am just placing these clothes on the counter for you. I will meet you soon.” She said. She sounded very nice. “Thank you very much.” I replied. I turned off the water and stepped out. I saw the fluffy towel Austin left for me and covered myself with it. I dried myself off and put on the clothes Jen brought with difficulty trying to figure out what goes where. The thing that held my boobs was the easiest to put on. Jen left me what I believe are a pair of shorts and a tank top that said Slipknot on it. Austin will have to tell me who they are. I walked out and tried to fix my long red hair. “Need help?” a girl asked who I am guessing is Jen. I nodded. “Sit down sweetheart.” She said. I took a seat and she was brushing out my hair. “I am Jen. It is so nice to meet you. As soon as we got here Austin wouldn’t stop talking about you.” She said. “Thank you. I am lucky we met so he could help me. He is very handsome.” I said. She smiled. “You guys would be cute together.” She said. I blushed. She giggled and braided my hair. It looked beautiful. “Thank you so much.” I said. Austin and whom I guess is Tino walked into where Jen and I were. “Ariel, would you like to go get dinner with Tino and Jen instead of us ordering pizza.” Austin said. I nodded smiling at Jen. “I have a new friend.” Jen squealed hugging me. I hugged her back. My first friend who isn’t a sea creature. She handed me a pair of shoes and socks. I have seen plenty of these in the ocean. I smiled and pulled them on my feet figuring out how to tie them quickly. We climbed into Austin’s car and he held my hand as he drove. I smiled and saw Jen winking at me. I chuckled. We got to the food place and we got a table. I am glad I know some human things for going up to the surface so much. “What is in a burger?” I asked. “Are you vegetarian?” Austin asked. I laughed. “No, not at all.” I said. “Oh well here it is grass fed beef.” He said. I hope beef is cow. “Tell me what is the best burger here.” I said. “The BBQ Bacon burger but it has jalapeno in it so if you like spicy you will enjoy it.” He said. “I will get that then.” I said smiling at him. He smiled at me and it caused me to blush. “You look cute when you blush.” He said. It caused me to blush more and I felt him kiss my cheek. Jen smiled at me. “Tell me about yourself.” Austin said. “Well I am 21 years old. I love music. All kinds. I love to swim and collect seashells or anything I find interesting. I love the feel of the sun on your skin. I would love to learn how to dance. This is my natural hair color. Oh and I love photography. I found a camera once and I could not get enough of taking pictures.” I said. He smiled. “You know Tino and I are in a band called Of Mice & Men. We have a show tonight. Please come.” He said. “I would love to.” I said. Austin ordered for the both of us and Jen whisked me away to the bathroom asking for help with something. “Austin so likes you. I can tell. I think he is going to ask you out.” She said. “Really?” I said excited. She nodded. I smiled and we rejoined the boys. We ate our food, which was really good, and we went our separate ways. Austin took me back to his place. “Do you have anywhere to stay?” he asked. “No not since me and my dad are fighting.” I said. “Well you can stay here. I will take you shopping and we can get you some clothes. Plus I hope it is not too forward of me but I would like to take you out on a date tomorrow night.” He said. “I would really like that.” I said smiling. He smiled and we headed back into his car. “Oh, who is Slipknot by the way?” I asked. “One of the best bands in the planet. Would you like to hear them?” he asked. I nodded. He placed a CD into a slot in his car and music began to play. I watched Austin bang his head and sing along to the music. I couldn’t help but smile. I really liked Slipknot. We stopped at a store. “So do you like them?” he asked. “Yes, I really do.” I said. His smiled grew. We walked into this cute little shop and I was lost at all the beautiful clothes. I grabbed some more shorts, some tank tops, some cute tops and a dress for tomorrow night. I grabbed some socks and a sweater. I saw Austin looking at all this jewelry. We met at the register. “You will look stunning in that dress.” He said. I blushed. We got in the car after paying for the clothes. He then took me to get makeup. Once we finished shopping he led me to the guest room to put my things away. “I have to go get ready for the show tonight so I will meet you in the living room.” He said. I nodded and flopped down on the bed. It was so comfy. I walked back into the living room and saw Jen’s number on a piece of paper for me. I borrow Austin’s phone and called her. “Hey, Austin asked me out on a date for tomorrow night. Could you come over and help me get ready? Plus can I borrow a pair of shoes.” I said. “Honey, I will pick you up tomorrow and you can get ready here. I am so excited for you.” She said. I smiled and said thank you. I hung up the phone as I saw Austin enter the room. Wow he looks so handsome. “Thank you.” He said. “I said that out loud didn’t I.” I said. He nodded. I blushed hiding my face and he lifted up my chin. “You are so beautiful. Please don’t hide.” He said kissing my lips softly. I smiled and nodded. “Well I am ready to go so let’s go.” He said smiling. I nodded. He changed the CD in the car and I liked it. “Who are these people?” I asked. “This is my band.” He said proudly. “I really like your music. You have such an amazing voice.” I said. He smiled. “You know you have the same name as my favorite Disney princess from the movie The Little Mermaid.” He said. “I have never seen it.” I said. He looked at me shocked. “We must watch it tonight when we get home.” He said. I laughed. “Okay.” I said. We arrived to where we were going. He opened the door and helped me out. He took my hand and we walked inside. He placed an arm around my waist as we walked back to where his band was. “Guys, this is Ariel.” He said. “HI, I’m Phil and this is my fiancée Noux.” I shook their hands. “I’m Aaron and this my fiancée Amanda.” I smiled and Amanda brought me in for a hug. I smiled and hugged her back. I then saw Alan. “Hey, sorry for earlier.” He said. “Not a problem.” I said. He smiled. I walked back over to Austin and he held my hand. We all talked and soon the boys had to go on stage. Jen pulled me to the side of the stage. “You will love it.” She said. I smiled and watched Austin. They were amazing. The smile on Austin’s face when he preforms is amazing. They finished and it was an amazing show. He smiled at me and hugged me tightly. “Eww you are gross.” I said. He laughed and kissed me again. I blushed and he held me. “I’m going to go meet some fans then I will be back.” He said. I nodded and sat on the couch. He came back with the biggest smile on his face. “Ready to go?” he asked. I nodded. We walked to his car. “Why are you so happy?” I asked. “A met a fan tonight who told me she was one year clean of hurting herself. I remember meeting her that year ago when I made her promise to me to stop.” He said. I smiled. “I’m happy for her.” I said. We got home. “Oh we forgot to get you PJs. Let me give you some of my relaxing clothes.” He said. I followed him and he handed me a shirt and a pair of long shorts. I went to my room and changed. I pulled on the shirt and it was like a dress. I pulled my hair out of the braid and let it flow down my back. I walked into the living room and sat on the couch. Austin came out showered without a shirt on. “I hope you don’t mind that I’m not wearing a shirt.” He said. “No I don’t as long as you don’t mind that I’m not wearing shorts.” I said. “Fine by me.” He said. I smiled and he went to put in the movie. “Would you like some popcorn?” he asked. “Never had it.” I said. He jaw dropped. He went and got the popcorn. He came back and sat down next to me. I rested my head on his chest and he rested an arm around me. I love the movie. It made me laugh that all the people in this movie are people from back home. I fell asleep on the couch leaning on Austin. “I believe I’m falling for you Ariel.” I heard him say before I was out. I woke up the next morning in the bed. I walked into the kitchen and found Austin making breakfast. “How does pancakes and eggs sound?” he asked. “Delicious.” I said. He smiled and handed me a plate. I took a seat and began eating. “These are so good.” I said. “I’m glad.” He said. We ate in a peaceful silence. “Jen said she would be here in a couple hours to get you ready.” He said. I nodded. “I should probably get my things together now.” I said. He nodded. I placed my plates in the sink and headed to my room. I packed up my outfit for the night and the jewelry Austin bought me also the makeup. I went to take a shower and walked out crashing into Austin. He caught my towel before it fell. “I’m so sorry.” He said. “It’s alright.” I said as my hair fell into my face. He brushed it out of my face. I blushed and he kissed my forehead. “I will see you later.” He said. I nodded. I went into my room and pulled on some clothes. I brushed out my hair and pulled it back. I heard a knock at my door and saw Jen. She smiled and pulled me to her car. “Bye Austin. Bye Tino.” I said waving. They waved back. We got to Jen’s place in no time. “So what do you want to do with your hair?” She asked. “I don’t know.” I said. “Let me see your outfit.” She said. I pulled out the dress and the cardigan along with the thigh high socks. “I say we curl it.” She said. I smiled and she sat me down at her vanity. She started putting these things in my hair. “Now let me see your makeup.” She said. I pulled it out of the bag. She set it down and did my makeup. It looked as if I was barely wearing any. I smiled and she pushed me into the bathroom. “I bought you a new bra and panty set.” She said. I pulled it out and it was all purple and lace. I pulled it on and then the socks. I put the dress on and headed out to her. “You look amazing.” She said. “Even with these things in my hair.” I said. She laughed. “Yes now let me take them out.” She said. I sat down and she pulled them out. My red hair cascaded down and looked amazing. I put on my cardigan and put on the necklace Austin got. “What bracelets should I wear?” I asked. She pulled some out including a cute watch and placed them on my wrists. I smiled and she went to go get a pair of shoes. “Do you think he really likes me?” I asked her nervously. “Honey, I think he is falling head over heels in love with you.” She said. I smiled. “I think I am too.” I said. She handed me a pair of flats and smiled at me. She gave a purse that she called a crossover. I put my things into it and was pinched. I looked into my bag and saw Sebastianna. “I will be right back.” I said. She nodded and I headed to the bathroom. “Has he told you he loves you?” She asked. I shook my head no. “He said he thinks he is falling for me though.” I said. “Well you need to get him to fall for you. I don’t like seeing you unhappy.” She said. I smiled and kissed her head. I headed back out and slipped her into the little purse. “Austin is here.” She said. I smiled and walked out to him. “Wow.” He said as his jaw dropped. I blushed. “You look incredible.” He said reaching out his hand. I took it and we left. “Use protection!” Jen yelled to us. I was confused but I was not about to ask Austin what she meant because I had a feeling it was something embarrassing judging by the blush on Austin’s face. I kissed his cheek and he opened his car door. I slid in and he shut the door. He started driving and I watched the scenery pass by us. We pulled up to a pond and he parked the car. “What are we doing?” I asked. “You shall see.” He said leading me to a blanket with a picnic basket. He sat down and I joined him. He pulled out some chocolate covered strawberries, sandwiches and chips with juice boxes. “Oh Austin you shouldn’t have.” I said. He chuckled. “I know.” He said. I smiled and took a bite out of one of the sandwiches. “So tell me about yourself.” He said. “If I told you, you wouldn’t believe me.” I said. “Try me.” He said. “I’m a princess and my father is very strict with me since I am the youngest. He and I got into a fight because he hasn’t believed in love since my mother died. So I ran away. I don’t want to deal with that. I want to live my life and fall in love.” I said. “That isn’t so hard to believe and it is nice to be in the company of you.” He said. I was not going to drop the mermaid bomb on him yet. I smiled and we ate. “Tell me about you.” I said. “I am just a normal guy. I lost my mom when I was young to a rare heart disease that I got from her. I had to get open-heart surgery and well a new heart. I have been with my band for years. It had helped me so much being with those guys. It helped me get a sense of normalcy in my life.” He said. I smiled. “At least someone knows how it feels to lose a mother. Other guys I have dated don’t understand the pain I went through.” I said. “Trust me I understand but they are watching over us now.” He said holding my hand. I smiled. I looked into his beautiful brown eyes and I leaned in kissing him. He placed his hand behind my neck and kissed me back. I felt sparks flying. He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine. “Wow.” He said. I blushed. We finished eating and Austin stretched out his hand. I took it and he led me to a little rowboat. He rowed us out into the lake and the sun was setting. We held hands and I rested my body against his chest. I felt the boat floating under a tree. I looked and saw Flounder and some of our friends pushing us. I heard music. I saw Sebastianna winking at me. I closed my eyes and mentally groaned. She was singing a song that I heard today on the radio with Jen and other times on my visits to the surface.
