Fourth Of July (Tony Perry)

Katia's POV

I pulled on my brother Mike's huge sweatshirt and made my way outside. I smiled at my brother Vic who was standing with Kellin and Katelynne. Today was the Fourth of July. I was excited about the fireworks. Frenchi and Mike were already cuddled up together on the grass. "Katia, is that my sweatshirt?" Mike asked. "Ya, sorry it's just so comfy and warm and reminds me of my awesome big brother." I said hugging him. He chuckled and kissed my head. Mike was older by one year and Vic was older by three. I loved my brothers to death. They have always been there for me no matter what was going on. I looked over at the hammock and saw Jaime and Jessica talking. Everyone was in a relationship but me and Vic. I believe Tony has a girlfriend but I don't know. I grabbed a lime budlight and stood by the fence in the back. I looked up at the tree and found a perfect spot to watch the fireworks. I climbed up and sat down. I opened my beer and waited. Something about the loud boom and the colors made me happy. "Hey, can I come up and join you?" Tony asked. My stomach filled with butterflies. "Ya, come on up here Turtle." I said. He handed me his beer and climbed up. I handed it back. Our hands touched for a brief second. I felt my heart start to beat faster and my cheeks filled with color. I smiled as the fireworks started going off. I finished my beer and rested my head on Tony's shoulder. "They look so beautiful." I said. "Not as beautiful as you." Tony said. "What did you just say Turtle?" I asked. "You are beautiful." He said placing a finger under my chin and tilting my head up. He kissed me softly and gently but it was full of passion. I kissed him back. My butterflies were now extremely out of control. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I then realised he reeked of alcohol. I jumped out of the tree. I was crushed. "Katia, where are you going?" Tony asked. "Fuck off Cesar Antonio!" I yelled clearly upset. I ran inside. Vic followed and hugged me tightly. "Katia, what's wrong?" He asked. "Your asshole guitarist just kissed me but he is completely drunk so he didn't mean it." I said through my tears. He rubbed my back comforting me. "Maybe the alcohol was just liquid courage so he could get up the courage to kiss you." He said. I shook my head no. "I'm ugly, Vic. Why would he ever want to date me?" I said. "Hey don't say that. Us Fuentes children are sexy as fuck." He said trying to cheer me up but it didn't work. "Vic, I want Frank." I said. He smiled weakly. Frank just overcame cancer months ago and I haven't seen him since then. Sure me, Vic and Mike were close but I was closest with Frank. He was my rock. "I'll drive you out to see him in the morning." Vic said. "I think I might just call a cab now." I said standing up. He pouted but kissed my head and went back outside. I packed up the things I would need and called for a cab. I said goodbye to everyone but Tony. He was sitting by the pool making out with some girl. I got in the cab and told the driver Frank's address. I put my headphones in and relaxed for the ride. I hate Tony. Why did he do this to my heart? The driver pulled up to Frank's. I jumped out and headed inside. He came down the stairs and I dropped my bag and ran for his arms. He hugged me tightly and I just cried into his chest. That was about a month and a half ago. I haven't talked to anyone but Frank, Vic, Mike and Frenchi. Sadly today the guys were going on tour today so I had to see Tony. I wasn't purposely ignoring Jaime but he was always with Tony. I had to go on tour because I am their guitar tech. As soon as the bus pulled up Vic came out and hugged me tightly. Mike joined in and then Jaime tackled us. We all fell over and I was laughing. I waved goodbye to Frank and climbed onto the bus. I walked straight past Tony and towards the bedroom in the back. The guys agreed on letting me have it so I could get away if need. I heard a small knock on the door. "Katia, can we please talk?" Tony asked. I sighed and opened the door. He looked at me and his eyes were all red and swollen. "Katia, Vic told me what happened on the Fourth of July and I want to say I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. But when I said you were beautiful I meant it. You are the most beautiful girl in the world. I love you Katia." He said. I stood there shocked not knowing what to say but the look in his eyes made me know he wasn't lying. I placed my hand on his cheek and kissed him. He kissed me back. "Katia Maria Fuentes, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" He asked. "Of course, Tony. That's all I ever wanted." I said kissing him. "Now you understand why I was so shy around you unless I was intoxicated." He said moving hair out of my face. I blushed and finished unpacking despite Tony distracting me. He threw me over his shoulder and ran out into the living room. I started giggling. Vic and Mike smiled at me. I got myself off his shoulder and sat on Mike's lap. "Guys, can I have a boyfriend?" I asked batting my eyelashes. "As long as he isn't in a band." Vic said trying to be serious. "Please big brother. He is really sweet and handsome." I said. Mike laughed. "Yes Katia, you can date Tony. We already knew." He said. I smiled and kissed their cheeks. I walked over to the fridge and grabbed a Rockstar. "Beautiful, can I have a sip?" Tony asked. I walked over and handed him the can. He took a sip and handed it back. I took a sip and felt arms wrap around me. I squealed and was pulled into Tony's lap. He nuzzled his face into my neck and kissed it. I blushed and kissed his head. I smiled at Tony and slide of his lap. I cuddled into his side and breathed in his cologne. I missed him so much. "Tony, I'm sorry for everything." I said. "No I'm sorry Katia." He said kissing me. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder. I fell asleep as we started the long ride to the first venue.
