The Way We Were (Brian Dale)

Kalliope's POV

"Kali!" Jess yelled jumping on me hugging me tightly. "Jessica Bowen, get off me before you break me." I said. She laughed and helped me up off the ground. "I'm just so happy you are coming on tour with us. Although I wish Aiden could've came with. I miss my nephew." She said. "Ya, I am too. I think." I said looking over at Brian talking to one of the roadies. I really didn't want to be here. Brian and I have history and I still love him but I want to be here with my best friend, my sister, Jess. She helped me get my stuff into the bus and then we went to wandered around the venue grounds. She introduced me to Echosmith and Sierra Lyman. Soon we had to get back to Kia Forte Stage for her set. Bring Me The Horizon was getting off the stage and Oli saw me. He smiled and ran over to hug me. He kissed my head. "It's good to see you Dove. I wish you were running the merch tent this tour." He said. "Sorry Olipop but I wanted to spend time with my sister." I said. "I'm so glad you are here though. I have a signing now but later we need to catch up." He said. "Of course. Love ya Oli." I said as he walked off. "Love ya too Kalliope." he said. I saw Brian glaring but I brushed it off. I went and hung out with Jess and the boys. I watched Brian kiss a roadie and my heart shattered. I bursted into tears and ran off. "Kali! Kali! Kalliope!" I heard Jess screaming. Someone caught me in their arms. I looked up and saw Danny Bateman. "Hey, why you crying?" He asked. "Douchebag ex." I said. He nodded. He comforted me and brought me back to the stage. He explained to Jess how I was going to spending the rest of Warped Tour on his bus. I watched their show then left with Danny.

Few Weeks Later

I have been having a blast with Danny and the set up crew. Terry, Danny and I are best friends. It's the last day of tour and I promised Jess I would go to their set. Danny has been hinting to me that Terry wants to ask me to Warped Tour Prom but as friends. It made me happy that I've made such good friends with the guys. I got to the stage and everyone tackled me in a hug. I saw Brian looking sad talking to Kenny. I rubbed behind my ear feeling my tattoo. I miss him so much. They all went on and they were doing amazing. "Now this last song is dedicated to my ex-girlfriend. I still love her so much and I want her back." Brian said looking at me. He began singing The Way We Were. Tears welled up in my eyes. Towards the end of the song I ran out on the stage. Brian dropped his mic and caught me in his arms. He placed his hand behind my ear and kissed me. I kissed back. I heard the crowd cheering. "Kalliope, it was wrong of me to leave you when things got bad. I love you. I need you in my life." He said. "Brian, I love you too." I said. We headed back stage. "So what is that I felt behind your ear?" He asked. I showed him my infinity tattoo with his name in one of the loops and 8/27/07 which is our anniversary date under it. "I love it. Like I love you." He said. I smiled but then it fell. I have to tell him about Aiden. "Brian, when we get home. There is someone you need to meet." I said. His smile fell. "Not like that I promise." I said. His smile came back. We all got on the bus and headed back to Scottsdale. Forgetting about Prom and just wanting to head home. I texted Danny and Terry what was going on and they promised to visit. After 19 hours we were finally home. I ran into mom's house and Aiden came out of the pool running. "MOMMY!!!!!" He screamed jumping into my arms. "Aiden, baby, I've missed you so much. Aunty Jess is home too." I said. He nuzzled his face into my neck. "Aiden, mommy wants you to meet someone very special." I told him. He nodded his head. I led him outside to the bus. I walked onto the bus and saw Brian packing up his stuff. "Brian, this is Aiden. Our son." I said. He hit his head on his bunk and looked at me. "Daddy?" Aiden said softly. "He is four Brian. I had him eight months after we broke up. Please don't be mad." I said. "I'm not mad." He said holding out his arms. I handed Aiden over. Brian hugged him and started crying. "I'm so happy to meet you buddy. We're gonna be best friends and have so much fun together. Plus mommy and daddy are gonna be together forever so we can be one happy family." Brian said. Aiden smiled and so did I. I kissed Brian and hugged my boys. My family feels whole now.
