Julilah Mae's POV

"Babe, why do you have to be taller than me? You are tall enough without the heels." Ashley said. "Shut up. This makes me feel beautiful." I screamed at him. "No need to be a bitch." He spat back. I sighed and pulled my blonde hair up into a bun. I stormed out of the room. I was always called ugly in high school but Ashley stood up for me and made me feel beautiful but he hasn't made me feel like that in a long time. I went out to my car and drove off to the party without Ashley. "Hello there. Where is Ash?" Juliet asked. "We fought." I said. I went straight for a drink. Ashley showed up and I ignored him. I was soon drunk. "I hate you." I screamed at Ash. "What the hell is your problem?" he asked. "You. You don't love me anymore." I cried. He went to hug me and I pushed him away. I ran out of the house taking off my heels throwing them at his car getting one stuck in the windshield. I climbed in my car and sped off. I really shouldn't be driving I'm so drunk but I don't care. I wiped away my tears and I saw lights coming right at me. I tried to swerve but it was too late. I crashed into another car getting thrown through the windshield. I looked around and I was surrounded by darkness. "Julilah, wake up baby. Please. I need to tell you how much I love you." I heard Ashley cry. I really need to stop acting like a bitch. "Mr. Purdy, it has been four months. She might not wake up at all." A doctor said. That is how long it has been. It couldn't have been that long. I saw a white light. I felt a hand tighten around mine. My eyes suddenly opened and it was bright. "The light." I groaned. The hand let go and ran to shut off the light. "Baby." Ashley said. He kissed me softly. "Baby, I love you so much. You mean the world to me. You are so beautiful with your big blue eyes. Your long blonde hair. How sweet you can be. God, you are so gorgeous. Please don't leave me." He said. "I could never leave you. I love you so much. You made me real beautiful when no one else did. I am so sorry." I said. He kissed me lightly. "I am going to get your doctor." He said. I nodded. The doctor came in with Ashley. "Now, Julilah, you broke some ribs and broke an arm. You are lucky nothing happened to your back." He said. I nodded. He gave me more pain meds and left saying I could leave in a few days. Ashley sat next to me and kissed my cheek. "I promise that I will make sure you get better real fast." He said. I kissed his cheek. Ashley finally took me home and he waited on me hand and foot. "Baby, I am all better. I can get ready myself." I said kissing him. I fixed my dress and we headed out to dinner. "Julilah Mae, I love you with all my heart. I love waking up to see your beautiful face right next to me. I want to wake up to your beautiful self every day for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?" he asked. "Ashley, I will." I said kissing him. He slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me. "I love you." He said. "I love you more." I said. "Impossible." He said. "Possible." I said. He chuckled and kissed me.
