Kayla's POV

Being Black Veil Bride's merch girl had its perks but then again it had its faults. I love being able to tour with the people that meant the most to me. The guys are my only family left after my parents passed away but I was never able to have a proper relationship because I am constantly traveling around the world. Each day, I see roughly fifteen couples walk up to the merch tent and buy something. It was really nice to see that people younger than me were having such a great time. Sometimes I try to remind myself that they were young, more than half of their relationships would be anything but permanent. That did give me some comfort but in the end it wasn't really worth making a big deal out of it. I climbed into my bunk to wait for my next shift to start so I can just hurry up and get back to lying in my bunk and think about how much I gave up to get this stupid job. I get to tour with my friends and I get to go all around the world, those two things were the only good things about my job. The curtain to my bunk began to move, revealing Ashley looking worried about something. "Someone from Asking Alexandria's merch table offered to do your shift because you've been looking a little off lately, not in a bad way, you look gorgeous. But you know what I mean," Ashley explained. "I should be out there helping them, I can't just stay in my bunk all day," I said, sitting upright to get out of the bunk. "Well that's exactly what you're going to do. Come on, tell me what's wrong," Ashley climbed into my bunk with me, wrapped the bed sheets around the two of us and allowing me to rest my head against his bare chest.

"It's just, there's always all of these couples buying merch together and I've never really had time for a relationship since I started this job. Don't get me wrong Ash, I love the job, I just need to get over this little issue and I'll be fine," I sighed, closing my eyes. "It'll be alright , one day you're going to meet someone who loves you more than anything," Ashley replied humbly as he ran his fingertips through my hair. I sat up on my elbows. He looked up and I saw those handsome brown eyes. He placed his hands on both my cheeks and kissed me. I kissed him back and ran my fingers through his hair. "This is the day you will meet the one person who loves you more than anything." He said. I started tearing up. "I love you too Ashley." I said. I cuddled into his chest as he kissed my head. "So will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I nodded. He chuckled and held me close. Guess I'm not lonely anymore.
