Macy’s POV

I ran out of the house with tears streaming down my face. Rain started pouring from the sky as I continued to run. My parents have finally pushed me to my limits. They told me I was a mistake and I never should’ve been born. My mom even said she was on her way to get an abortion but the doctor said she was too far along to get one. I was bullied enough at school but now my home life. I turned down an alley and sat on the ground sobbing. I took out my blade and started cutting up my wrists in hopes of dying. “Hello?” a voice called out. I covered my mouth so they wouldn’t hear me. “I know you are down there. Please answer.” I heard the person say as they came closer. I looked up and saw a man standing right in front of me before every thing became black. I woke up and saw a strange man sitting next to me. I blinked my eyes and saw it was Max Green. “Hi, um what are you doing here?” I asked. “I found you.” He said. I felt ashamed. “Why would you do that to yourself?” he asked. “It doesn’t matter. I just don’t want to be alive.” I said. He held my hand. “Please don’t hurt yourself. You are too beautiful for this.” He said. I started crying. “I have no where to go I might as well be dead.” I said. “Come stay with me.” He said. I looked at him confused. “Please stay with me.” He said. I nodded. He signed my release forms and we headed to my parents’ house to get my things.  We didn’t even have to go inside. They threw all my stuff in boxes outside. I started crying but we loaded my stuff into his car. We moved me in and I told Max I was going to take a nap. I didn’t leave my room for a week but he brought me food. I never ate it. I just flushed it down the toilet. “Macy, please come out.” Max said. I opened the door a crack. “Macy.” He said. He pushed the door open and the look in his eyes looked like I broke his heart. “Macy, please come and eat with me.” He said. I nodded and followed him to the kitchen. I found the table set with a spaghetti dinner. I smiled and took my seat. He even poured us a glass of wine. I smiled and took a sip of wine. The food actually smelled really good. I started eating. Max smiled and ate with me. After we finished eating we sat on the couch watching a movie together. A couple months passed and Max had me healthy as a horse. I met all his friends and I began falling hard for him. He started acting weird lately. I got out of bed and started walking towards the kitchen. “Ronnie, I don’t know how to tell her. What if she doesn’t take it well? What if I ruin everything?” I heard Max say. “Dude, tell her or I will.” Ronnie said. I was in tears. Max wanted me to leave. I knew he didn’t like me. I ran to my room and slammed the door. “MACY!” I heard Max scream. I sobbed into my pillows. I heard the door open. “Macy, why are you crying?” he asked. “You want me to leave.” I sobbed. “No, never. I want the opposite of that. I want you to stay. Macy, I’ve fallen in love with you.” He said. I looked at him and I was shocked. What I did next shocked me more. I jumped into his lap and kissed him. He kissed me back. “I feel the same way.” I said. He smiled and kissed me again. I heard cheering and looked at Ronnie. “You guys love me.” He said. I got up and hugged him. “I only love your hugs.” I said. Ronnie pouted. “I’m kidding.” I said. He smiled and pulled Max and I in for a huge group hug. I can’t believe I am now dating Max Green, the man I love. “Thanks for making me happy.” I said burying my face in Max’s chest. “Thanks for letting me make you happy.” He said.
