Libby's POV

I looked up from my book to look around the little café I am sitting in. I swear I heard the name Cody Carson. He can't be here. He knows this is my little sanctuary. That bastard believed I cheated on him with my best friend, Ryan. Ryan is gay and had a boyfriend at the time but that did not convince Cody. I went back to reading my book until I felt someone watching me. I peered up over my book and sure enough there he was looking at me. His eyes were full of sorrow and guilt/regret. I sighed and placed my book down. "What do you want?" I asked. "I knew I would find you here." He said. "What do you want?" I asked again. He fiddled with his hands. I knew exactly what he wanted. "You want me back." I said. He looked up at me and nodded. I scoffed and went to get up. He grabbed my hand and I felt that spark. "Please, let me explain myself." He pleaded. "Why should I?" I asked. "Because I know you still love me." He said. Sadly, he was right. I do still love him. "I need to watch Smooches." I said. He nodded and followed me. One awkward car ride later, we were at the beach walking Smooches. I really wanted to hold his hand but I was not giving in so easily. "You wanted to talk so talk." I said. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "I was afraid of loosing you every time that we left for tour. I would worry constantly that you would find someone else and leave me. I hated being away from you. I tried to think of a rational way to solve the problem but I could not unless it meant you dropping out of school and quitting your job. That was when I got drunk and called you. What I said to you that night is unforgivable. I was an idiot. I don't expect you to take me back but I love you and I needed to explain everything to you. Now that I got that off my chest, I'm going to go. I love you, Libby. I'm so sorry." He said and began to walk off. I was shocked by what he said. I went to go after him but I lost sight of him. I could care less about school and my job. I just want to be with him. I called Max to see if he knew where Cody went. They were on tour and had a show here tonight. Max said he would reserve me a ticket. I ran home and packed up my backpack and suitcase. I called my mom and she said she would love to watch Smooches. I caught a taxi to the venue and saw Max out front. I hugged him tightly. "Where is he?" I asked. "Go and I will take your bags." He said. I kissed his cheek and ran inside. I found him sitting on the stage strumming his guitar and singing Thinking Out Loud. I smiled and walked towards the stage. He was on the last verse/chorus and I sang with him. He looked up and saw me. He dropped his guitar and ran towards me. He caught me in his arms and I kissed him passionately. He kissed me back. "I love you. I forgive you. I want to be with you and only you. I don't care about school or work. I can make money on the road with you. Cody, I want to be with you forever and always." I said. He smiled. "I love you too." He said kissing me. He held me tight in his arms stroking my hair. He kissed my head and took me to the green room. We just sat there and he held me in his arms. "I don't ever want to move." I said resting my head on his chest. "You don't have to move ever." He said kissing me.
