Hannah's POV
My parents have dragged me out on a cruise ship. I didn't really want to go but I did need to get away from things for a little while. I didn't want to offend my parents and I didn't really have anything better to do with my time so I packed my bags and off I went. Of course before I left I had to notify work, they didn't mind due to the fact that I was always on time and I never missed a day. I work as a tattoo artist four out of seven days a week. I love my job, I get to meet heaps of new people and I love what I do. I sat with my mom on one of the decks and continued to read the magazine in my hands. A few people kept starring at me due to the mass amounts of tattoos on my skin. I sighed; I didn't stare at people who weren't tattooed so why did they care so much? As another elderly lady walked past me and stared before gasping at me, I pulled the magazine closer to my face so that I wouldn't say something that I'd regret later. My mom seemed to take no notice this and that bothered me a little bit. The old lady walked past and then looked at the man standing behind her. He was just as tattooed as me, and rather cute to be honest. I smiled at him as he winked at me and continued to walk towards his group of friends at the other end of the deck. A few moments later I saw him walk past again, this time he smiled at me and stuck his tongue out a little bit. I didn't know what to do but I felt a light blush creep up to my cheeks. I covered my face with the magazine and smiled, why was he making me so nervous and shy? I told my mom that I was going to the bathroom. I quickly hurried off before I embarrassed myself further. I walked into the bathroom and then splashed my face with water. I dried it off and then walked back out to see the man talking to my father. "Hey, Hannah, Oliver was just talking to me about some tattoos." My father spoke. My dad did have some tattoos, not as many as I did but he did have quite a few. "The two of you should hang out." my dad suggested. Oliver smiled up at me; I saw his cheeks tint a light pink color. "Sure." I smiled. My father walked away, leaving the two of us standing there. "I really would like to get to know you better, Hannah." Oliver smiled. "And I'd love to get to know you too Oliver." I chuckled. "Well, I'm a singer in a band and I like tattoos..."Oliver trailed off. "I'm a tattoo artist." I smiled. The two of us continued to talk about our lives and interests until it was time for dinner. "When this cruise is over we should hang out more." Oliver suggested. "Yeah, we should." I smiled. We exchanged numbers and parted ways until next morning.
