Rosie's POV

Danny finally got his life back on track. He doesn't do drugs anymore but still drinks a little bit. I want to contact him but I am too scared of what could happen. I heard from Ben that he is searching for me since he got clean but he has been doubling his efforts since he left AA. I left Danny back in 2011 on that night where he got on stage completely drunk and high out of his mind. He wasn't the man I fell in love with anymore and I was not going to subject our child to Danny's reckless behavior. Danny never knew I was pregnant. I didn't even know I was pregnant until I noticed I was putting on a lot of weight. I went to the doctors about it and found out I was eight months pregnant. I never noticed due to the stress of Danny being away and me worrying about him. Danny still doesn't know of his daughter. Ben and the guys helped me keep it from him. I only kept her a secret to protect her. She is off with Ben now having a goddaughter and godfather day, as Ben would call it. He wants to spend time with her before he leaves for Warped Tour. He has been a good father figure for her but she knows Ben is not her father. I groaned and pulled my hair back into a bun and went back to sketching this tattoo design a client wanted to get done tomorrow. I looked down at my chest and saw the quote I tattooed over my heart. It read you don't have to be afraid. It was from AA's song Run Free. Ben told me Danny wrote it thinking of me in his mind. Along with Someone, Somewhere, Believe, The Road and Moving On. I really should contact Danny. It does seem he misses me a lot. I wouldn't even know how to get in touch with him. I know his new band is We Are Harlot. Danny knows what I look like now because Ben always has pictures of me on his phone from times we have spent together and from Amelia's birthday parties but Ben has pictures of Amelia hidden from Danny. I went and sat at the desk up front. I didn't have another tattoo appointment for the rest of the day. I guess I will just do walk ins. My friend Lily came and sat with me when a guy walked in. "Hi, I was wondering if I could have a appointment real quick." The guy said. I knew that voice anywhere. It was Danny. I got up slowly and walked back to my studio without him seeing me. I pray Lily doesn't send him to me. I hear him talking to her and she brings him back to her room. I put on some makeup and contacts. I pull my hair up into a beanie so it is hidden. I go into her room and sit down. "Danny, this is my friend and coworker, Mina." She says knowing that I don't want her to tell him it is I. "What are you getting?" I asked him curiously. "I wanted to get lyrics tattooed over my heart from my old band from the song Run Free. During one part of it I was sending a message to my old girlfriend and it means a lot to me. I miss her so much." He said. My heart broke. "So you want it to say you won't be alone in the end?" Lily asked him. He nodded. "She would always tell me I wouldn't be alone but then she left. I don't blame her either. I was out of control. I really fucked up the best relationship I ever had." He said. I started to cry. I heard the door at the front. "Be right there." I yelled. I went to my studio and cleaned up my face and took out the contacts. I headed to the front and saw Ben and Amelia. "Mommy!" she squealed hugging me. "Mia." I said kissing her head. Ben saw I was upset. "He's here." I said with my voice cracking. "You need to talk to him Rosie." Ben said. "Please." I said trying not to cry in front of my baby girl. "Eh, Lily, I am taking Mina for the rest of the day." Ben yelled to Lily. "Alright, see you guys later." Lily yelled back. Ben took me out to my car and drove Mia and I back to my flat. I set Mia down and she went to go find Lucie. "Ben, he misses me. I don't know what to do." I sobbed. "Rosie, you need to go get him. He is better now. Trust me." Ben said rubbing my back. I nodded. "So I am taking you to a concert tonight and James is gonna babysit." Ben said. "But Mia won't get to bed on time and be hopped up on sugar." I said remembering how well James babysits. "Trust me please." Ben said. I nodded. He sent me to shower while he picked out a nice outfit. I climbed out of the shower and straightened my long red hair. I did some makeup but not too much. I walked into my room and Ben picked out my best bra. It made my boobs look very nice that is why it is the best. I pulled on the clothes and he smiled. I pulled on my vans and headed out into the living room to find James with Mia. "What are you two up to?" I asked. "Uncle James said we could watch Frozen together." Mia smiled. "Have fun baby girl." I said kissing her head. "Be responsible. Please." I said to James. "I will I promise." He said hugging me. I left my flat with Ben and he drove us to wherever we were going. He parked the car and pulled me into the venue. We were in the middle of the crowd. The opening bands were good but not amazing. I heard all the fans screaming We Are Harlot. "Ben, you didn't." I said. "I did. Now watch." He said. I groaned and began to feel upset. Danny was amazing and better than ever when he performed. "This last song is for my beautiful Rosie. I know she is out there somewhere in the world and I won't stop until I find her. This is Someday." Danny screamed. I covered my mouth trying not to cry. Ben lifted me up onto his shoulders while I tried to stop him. I was crying as Danny sang out. All of a sudden a spotlight was shined on me. I looked down at Ben and he was smirking. Danny looked out into the crowd and saw me. I saw the tears in his eyes. Ben began pushing through the crowd and got behind the barricade. Danny held out his hand to me and I took it. He stopped singing and placed both his hands on my cheeks kissing me. He grabbed his microphone and looked at me dead in the eyes and sang the final verse.

I was in tears. Danny wrapped his arms around me and carried me off the stage. "Rosie." He said shocked. "Danny." I sobbed. He held me in his arms and kissed me head. "Please don't leave me." He said as his voice cracked. "Danny, I'm so sorry I left. I only left to protect Mia and I." I said. I gasped and covered my mouth. "Mia?" he asked with tears in his eyes. "She is our four year old daughter. That night back in 2011 during that awful performance. I came to tell you that I found out I was pregnant. I saw you and how you were. I didn't want Mia to grow up with a father who was reckless. I am so sorry Danny. I should've known better than to keep her from you. I should've stayed to protect you. I broke my promise and left you alone." I sobbed. "You don't have to be sorry. I am so glad that you protected her from me when I was acting like that reckless asshole. She didn't deserve a father who acted like that but now that I am better please take me back. I want to be with you. I need you Rosie." Danny said. I took his face in my hands and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around my waist. "Come on, there is someone who is dying to see you." I said. He nodded. We went to his tour bus and he grabbed some things since it he had a few days off. We met Ben out front and he took us back to my flat. I headed inside and saw Mia's eyes glued to the TV watching The Little Mermaid while James was bored out of his mind. I elbowed him and he saw Danny and I. "Ben is outside waiting." I whispered to him. He nodded and left. I shut the front door and Danny set his stuff down. I saw the tears in his eyes. "She is so beautiful. We created such a beautiful girl." Danny said. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Amelia, sweetheart." I said. "Mommy!" she squealed hugging me tightly. "Remember all those stories I told you about my prince charming." I said to her. She nodded. "He is my daddy." She said. Danny looked like he was going to cry at any minute. "Mia, do you want to meet your daddy?" I asked her. She nodded. "Hi Mia." Danny said softly. Mia broke out in the biggest smile. "DADDY!" she screamed jumping out of my arms and hugging Danny with all her might. Danny lifted her up and hugged her back tightly. "Daddy, did you defeat the dragon?" Mia asked him. I called Danny's reckless behavior/drug and alcohol problem a dragon. "Yes I did sweetheart and now that I have, I have some to take my princess in queen home." Danny said. Mia squealed and kissed his cheek. Mia made us finish The Little Mermaid with her. She was curled up in Danny's arms and fell asleep. Danny put her to bed and Lucie jumped up in bed with her. Mia wrapped his arms around Lucie and Lucie fell asleep. Danny followed me to my room. "I love you Rosie. I love Amelia too. Please come home with me to our home." Danny said. "I would love nothing more and I am sure Mia will be thrilled." I said kissing him. "Rosie, marry me?" he asked. I smiled and kissed him passionately tackling him onto my bed. "Not that I would love this right now but our daughter is in the next room over." Danny said. I smiled and felt tears in my eyes. "You have no clue how long I have waited to hear you say our daughter." I said. He smiled and kissed me. He stripped into his boxers and I got into my PJs. I cuddled up to his side and he wrapped his arms around me. "I am never letting you go. You don't need to be afraid." He said. "You won't be alone in the end." I said kissing him softly. He smiled and we drifted off to sleep.
