Jaime Come Home (Derek Sanders)

Jaime's POV

"Grey, honey stop crying. Daddy wouldn't want to see you cry." I said to my sobbing two year old. I soon started crying. I left Derek two years ago. I just ran off. I was pregnant and I didn't want a kid ruining his life. I miss him like crazy. He probably has forgot about me now. I need to see him now. I need to know if he still loves me. I have to explain. I called my friend Lexi to come over. I googled Mayday Parade and saw they were on tour. They are actually here tonight in Georgia even though he swore he would never return. I bought three tickets. Grey is coming with. Lexi walked in and hugged Grey. "Hey baby, what crazy idea does your mom have this time?" She asked. "I am getting Derek back." I said. "Jamie, it had been two years." She said. "I know but I have this feeling everything will be okay." I said hopefully. I bathed Grey and got her dressed. I put on her black leggings with a pink tutu. I put on a Mayday Parade shirt for her and then one on me. I did my eye makeup and straightened my hair. I placed Grey in her car seat as Lexi got in the front. I drove to the venue and got our tickets. We headed in and sat in a booth up close so Grey could see without getting hurt. "This last song is called Jamie All Over." Derek said. I felt a pang of guilt in my heart. "I will text you in thirty minutes to come find me." I said handing her Grey. She nodded. I jumped up and ran backstage avoiding the bodyguard. As Derek sang the last words, he looked as if he was crying. He walked backstage. I ran up but then was grabbed by a security guard. I screamed and punched him. "DEREK!" I screamed. He kept walking away. "DEREK SANDERS!" I screamed again. His head snapped up. He looked angry then hurt. "Let her go." He said. The guard let me go. I ran up and kissed him feeling the same spark I did two years ago. "Jamie, why are you here?" He asked mad with venom in his voice. "I had to apologize and tell you why I left. It was a stupid reason that you will hate me for but just so you know I still love you." I said. He nodded. I looked out and saw everyone gone but Lexi and Grey. I took his hand and led him out to them. "Lexi, you look amazing and you have a baby. She is so adorable." He said. "She isn't mine." Lexi said. Then he grew furious. "You left me because you cheated and got pregnant." He spat. "No." I said crying. I was hoping this would be better. "Let's go guys." I said. Lexi nodded. "Bye daddy." Grey said as we walked away. "What did she just call me?" He asked. "Daddy, she listens to her daddy sing every night while her mother cries because she made the hugest mistake by leaving her father so he could have his career. Grey Madison Sanders cries herself to sleep listening to her father singing." I said in tears. I ran out of the building with Grey. Lexi chased after and we sped off in the car. It has been three weeks since then now. Grey cries more now because I cry more. I went out to the mall to buy her new clothes and a stuffed animal. I placed her on my hip as we entered Newbury Comics to visit Lexi. I mentally cursed myself as I saw Derek. "Lexi, please, I need to see her. I finished tour and I've come back for her. I love her." He said. I started walking to him but stopped. No I can't go back. I walked out and headed to the food court. I then bumped into someone with Grey. She began crying. I ran to the bathroom and cleaned up the little blood coming from her nose. I kissed her head and sang Stay. Her favorite song. I heard a knock on the door. I finished cleaning her up and left and let the next woman in. I drove home and saw Derek. Fuck you Lexi. I got out leaving Grey in the car. Derek ran over to me and kissed me. I kissed back. I love this man and this feels so right. "I'm here to bring you home. I need you both. I love you Jamie. We are still technically married too. We never got a divorce." He said. I nodded. He got Grey out of the car and headed inside. I took my ring out. "I wore it for the first year and a half and I finally took it off thinking you moved on." I said. "Well I haven't I want my wife back and my baby." He said. I smiled and nodded. "Time to go home." He said kissing me and Grey. I smiled and started packing. I heard Grey laughing and saying daddy to him over and over again. I am happy to be going home.

Thirteen Years Later

"Dylan, you get back her and apologize to your sister." Derek yelled as Grey cried. Grey's boyfriend cheated on her and Dylan said she deserved it. Brother sister love. I hugged Grey and rubbed her back. "Can I talk to her alone?" He asked. We nodded. We left the room and pressed our ears up against the door. "Grey, I am so sorry. You know I love you and you are the best big sister ever. I should've beat up Ryan's ass when he hurt you. I need you to promise me though you will stop hurting yourself." Dylan said. I was about to cry. "How did you find out Dill?" She asked. "Because you are my sister. I know when something is up and you have been upset and not yourself. I love you Grey. Please promise to stop I don want to lose you." He said. "I promise and I love you too" She said. I opened the door and found them hugging. Derek was off cleaning out Grey's blades. He came back and hugged me. We then tackled our kids hugging them. "Now that this is over. Who is ready for tour with their awesome dad?" Derek asked. The kids screamed me. He was touring from May to August. We got the school to give them their work online which they agreed. We loaded our bags onto the huge bus and got ready for a summer full of memories.
