Logan's POV

I have tried to get out of this party so many times but Max said that it'd be good for me to go. He knew that I didn't like being in big crowds or being in loud places but I believed him; it'd be good for me. The two of us only really spent time at home and on occasions I'd go out to the mall or something but I never really did anything that exciting. I didn't know why Max still stayed with me when I'm just scared and boring but he does. By the time Max and I arrived, the party was in full swing. There were tables of drinks everywhere and people were doing all kinds of things around me. Taking a few deep breaths to calm myself, I clutched onto Max's hand a little tighter. "It'll be alright, Logan," Max said to me quietly before placing a kiss on my forehead. That gave me a small shot of happiness. Unaware for how long it would last, I decided to make the best of it and attempt to have a great time. Within the first hour that I was there, a few people came up to Max and offered the two of us a drink. Max said no because he would be driving home tonight and I didn't take any because I wasn't in the mood for alcohol. One person that was walking towards the two of us caught my eye; Craig Mabbitt. I never really liked Craig, but that was only because he never really liked me. "I'm going to get a glass of water, I'll be back," I said quickly excusing myself before Max could question why I was leaving his side so suddenly. I just wanted to get away from Craig. Carefully pushing my way through the people, I soon got to the kitchen where I grabbed a clean empty cup and made myself some water, smelling it before I drank it just to make sure that it wasn't vodka or something. Once I finished my drink, I began to walk back to where Max was before. I soon found out that getting back to the same spot wasn't exactly easy when I passed through so many people to get to where I went. Very quickly, I grew overwhelmed by all the people around me. Sinking to the floor, I wrapped my arms around my knees and hugged them to my chest. The room was spinning and everything just felt way too warm. I knew that this wasn't an effect of drinking something accidently instead of water; I was having a panic attack again. Tears began flooding my eyes, making my vision blurry and everything just that more terrifying for me. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my body. "Shh, Logan, I'm here," Max cradled me against his chest, gently stroking my hair in an attempt to calm me. I bit down on my bottom lip to try and keep myself from crying but it wasn't working so well. "Come on Max, why are you still with her? She's no fun and all she does is cry! You could be out partying every night but instead you're sitting there with your over-sensitive girlfriend," Craig said through a few slurs. I just wanted to make it all stop but it wasn't working. Max lifted me up and I soon felt the cool air hit my face. "Don't listen to him. You mean the world to me and I'd do anything to see you happy," Max kissed my cheek as he put me into the passenger's seat of his car. Within about half an hour I calmed down. I wasn't crying anymore and I could take a breath without having to take fifty shortly afterwards. Still remembering what Craig had said, I rested my head against the car's window and tried to forget everything. "He's right you know," I mumbled. "What?" Max asked as he stopped at a set of lights, only a few streets away from the house that we shared. "Craig, he's right. You could be out partying every night but instead you're always with me," I explained. "Logan, I love spending time with you. I don't want to be out partying all the time. I'd get sick of it. You're my whole world and I'd give anything to see you happy," There was a small smile placed across my face once he'd finished. "I love you, Max, I really do," I smiled. "I love you too, Logan, more than you could ever imagine." He said kissing my head. We headed into the house and changed into more comfortable clothes. "Logan, I don't have a ring or anything but I love you so much. Will you marry me?" he asked. I looked up at him. "Are you serious Max?" I asked. "I am so serious Logan. I love you. Flaws and all." He said. I smiled and kissed him passionately. "Yes, I would love to marry you Max." I said.
