Ladies And Gentlemen It's The Moment Of Truth (Oliver Sykes)

Olivia's POV

I haven't seen my best friend, Oliver, in a few months. His band, Bring Me The Horizon, has just put out a new album and due to the fact that the band was quite popular, they began touring around the world weeks before the new album came out. Sempiternal was different from the band's other albums but it sounded good overall. Oliver was worried about putting this new album out because it was so different from what had previously been recorded. But a few days after the album was on sale, I heard news back from Oli. He said that the feedback from fans had been great; they really liked it. The band was finally touring in my area so I decided to go and see them play live; it's been a while since I'd done that. I spent the whole day preparing for the concert. Once I was ready to go, I called a taxi because I'm not sure if I'd be staying at the bus after the show or not, and then waited for it to get there. When I walked up at the venue a few people recognized me as Oliver's friend. He talked about me a lot and many people thought that the two of us were dating. That wasn't the case, we were just friends. Some people wanted to take photos with me so I did, I didn't want to make them upset or something and I didn't have anything better to do so why not? As I entered the venue and handed the person at the door my ticket, I smiled. The last time that I'd been at this venue was when Oliver had taken me to a concert, something for one of the bands that he likes. We both had a great night and it was amazing just to spend time with each other. Within about half an hour the venue was full and there were people surrounding me. I could barely move by the time the opening band came on. People started jumping and singing along to songs that I've never heard before. It was strange but it felt right.

The opening band wasn't on for very long but they put a shit load of effort into their show. People started chanting 'BMTH' over and over again whilst the band's guitar and drum techs came on stage and started setting up for them. Moments later, I watched as the two Matts walked on stage, followed by Jordan and Lee and then by Oliver, who of course gained the most cheers from everyone. There was a giant smile on my face; I haven't seen him in person in such a long time. Their first song was Can You Feel My Heart? It was much better live than it was on the album. I sung along to the words just like everyone around me did, they were all having so much fun. Not long after the first song started, a mosh pit began in the area that I was standing in. I quickly got out of the way, there was just a few things that I didn't want to particularly do. After they played Crucify Me, Seen It All Before, Sempiternal and halfway through Antivist, Oliver called out Wall Of Death. i didn't really want to get into this but it looked like fun. As soon as Oliver hit one on his countdown, people started running towards each other. I almost got elbowed in the face but I quickly got out of it before anything bad could happen. The band played the rest of the song before Oliver began to talk into his microphone. "There's someone special out in the crowd tonight," He said as he smiled at me from up on stage. I smiled back at him even though I'm sure that he couldn't see me. After a few hours the concert had finished and I was on my way out of the venue. The songs that they played were amazing and I had such a great time. "Olivia ," I heard a voice call out to me. Turning around, I saw Oliver standing there with a huge grin on his face. "I've missed you so much," I spoke as soon as I ran up to him. Oliver engulfed me in a hug, allowing me to rest my head against his shoulder blade. "I missed you too," Oliver smiled. The two of us walked into the bus, Oliver's arm around my waist. "We have a lot to catch up on," Oliver beamed as he sat down on the couch, pulling me down with him. Well I guess now was a better time then ever. I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him lightly. "That has what happened since you've been gone. I love you Oliver. I miss you so much more than I should when you are gone." I said. He looked shocked. I started to get up. He then pulled me back down and kissed me back. I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you too Olivia." He said. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder again. "So you are coming on the rest of your with us now. I need to have my beautiful girlfriend with me." He said. I blushed and nodded. Finally I got to tell Oliver I love him.
