Harder Than You Know (Craig Mabbitt)

Holly's POV

Here I am sitting in my bed with a tub of Ben and Jerry's crying and watching a sad movie. Craig cheated on me again with Gabrielle. I understand she is the mother to his daughter but he tells me he can't stand her and then he goes and fucks her. I finally shut off my TV and threw out the empty ice cream container. I stood up and threw my messy hair up into a bun. I walked out onto my balcony. I wrapped my blanket around me and cried. I heard a guitar strumming my song. The song Craig wrote me when he cheated on me the first time back in 2008. It was Harder Than You Know. I looked down and saw Craig. He started singing and I began to cry more. He put his guitar down when he finished and started climbing up my balcony. He sat on the railing and looked at me. "Holly Marie Jones, I love you with all my heart. I know sorry doesn't make up for all the horrible things I have done to you but I truly am sorry and if you will give me the chance I would like to prove myself to you." He said. I looked at him and I really do truly love this man. I nodded and looked down. "This is your last chance Craig. I can't deal with you continuously breaking my heart." I said. He placed a finger under my chin and pulled my face up to his. "I promise I will never hurt you again." He said kissing me softly. I kissed back and pulled him into my room. I laid down on my bed as he stripped to his boxers and curled up next to me. I rolled over and snuggled my face into his chest. He stroked my hair and kissed my head. "Goodnight beautiful." He whispered. "Goodnight babe." I said.
