Watch Me (Ashley Purdy)

Lavender's POV

I got shoved down into the locker. "You will never be a singer. You are a fucking freak. No one will ever love you." my bully screamed in my face. I cried. He walked off leaving me there bruised and broken. "Are you alright?" A guy asked me. "No, all I want is to be a singer but everyone thinks I have a horrible voice and that I will never make it. Plus my bully reminds me every single day of that and that no one will love me." I said. "Well there are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't, what you've got to do is say watch me." the guy said. He helped me up and fixed me up. I found out his name was Ashley and with his help I proved everyone wrong. He helped me with my career and loved me. We have been together for three years. Three years full of love and I am leaving him because I lover him so much. I kissed Ashley goodbye and he did not stir from his sleep. I will ruin my career but not his. I love him too much to do that to him. I left our house and headed to my parents. I had my baby girl four years ago. I am on Warped Tour this summer. I managed to keep my music career going. I am teaching my TEI class at Warped Tour about being a female in the music industry. It can be hard sometimes and the kids know this. I began finishing up and said the words Ashley said to me all those years ago. "There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't, what you've got to do is say watch me." I said. The girls cheered. I looked up and saw Ashley standing there. He had tears in his eyes. I hugged the girls and made my way over to him. "You broke my heart." he said. "I broke my own too." I said. He took my face in his hands and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around him in fear of loosing him. "Take me to her." he said. I nodded. I texted Kevin asking him where he was. He was in his office on his bus. We headed to his bus. "Why are we walking towards Kevin Lyman's bus?" he asked. "He watches Harley for me when I perform or teach my class. How did you know?" I asked him. "I found the test. I have been looking for you both for a long time." he said holding my hand. "We've watched you perform every day from side stage." I said. "And I didn't notice." he said confused. I chuckled and kissed his cheek. We climbed onto the bus. "Mommy!" Harley squealed hugging me. I smiled and kissed her head. "Daddy." she said shocked. "Hi baby girl. I found you. Mommy and you are very good at hide and seek." he said. She smiled and jumped from my arms to his. Kevin smiled at me. I hugged him. "I'm glad to see you happy." he said. "Thank you." I said. Ashley and I clambered off the bus with Harley on Ashley's shoulders. "Mommy, we get to go home with daddy!" Harley said excited. I looked at Ashley. "I still live in our house. I even made up a room for her when I found the test. I was hoping you guys would come back one day but I found you instead so it is even better." he said. "Do I get to keep my side of the bed?" I asked. "Yes, you can." he said. I smiled and kissed him. "On one condition." he said. "What's that?" I asked. "Marry me." he said. I kissed him roughly. "Yes." I said breathlessly. He smiled and we headed to his set. Jake, Jinxx, Andy and CC were happy to meet Harley and she was happy to meet them. Juliet was her favorite though. CC was determined to change that though. We finished tour and headed home. It felt nice being home with Ashley. We have been home for a few weeks. I heard a crash of thunder. I looked at Ashley smirking. "What?" he asked. "You are going to be the happiest man in two minutes." I said. "How?" he asked. "Wait for it." I said. On cue Harley ran in crying. She ran to Ashley and hugged him tightly scared. "Make the drummer stop being angry, daddy." she cried. Ashley smiled at me and kissed her head holding her close to him. "He isn't angry. He is just trying to figure out how to play drums as good as Uncle CC. I promise to protect you from his horrible playing. You get to sleep in here with me my munchkin." he said kissing her head. Harley stopped crying slowly and fell asleep clinging to Ashley. "I am so glad you two are with me." he said softly stroking Harley's hair. "We are happy to be home." I said kissing him. I shut off the light and cuddled up to Ashley. "I love you Lavender." he said softly. "I love you too Ashley." I said. We kissed and fell asleep curled up next to each other with our daughter between us.
