Lucy's POV

"C'mon we're gonna be late!!!" my mom yelled, halfway out the door. "I'm coming!!!" I replied, putting on the finishing touches on my eyeliner. My parents and I are going to an important business conference. I didn't want to go, but I knew that there was no way I could get myself out of going. I quickly grabbed my iPod and ran out the door. It was about a two hour drive to the conference building. I put in my ear-buds, blocking out the sound of my mom and step dad arguing over business statistics. I got there just in time. The first speaker of the conference had just started as I slid into the seats with my parents. It was some guy from a record label speaking on his success with his new clients, and how to reach your financial goals. I was already bored. I turned on my iPod and again put in my ear-buds, not wanting to hear the speaker. I flipped to The Bomb Dot Com V2.0 by Sleeping With Sirens. They are my favorite band. I saw a group of people walking down the middle of the room looking for seats. It was dark in the room so I couldn't see what they looked like. I turned and faced the front of the room, staring blankly at the wall. I felt someone sit down next to me. I immediately tensed. I hated sitting near people I didn't know, especially when they're sitting so close to me. I tried to ignore it by pretending to be interested in what the speaker was saying. The stranger next to me pushed the home button on my iPod, causing the screen to illuminate. I looked up to see myself face-to-face with Kellin Quinn. I could see him mouth the word hi. I pulled out my ear-buds. I had a shocked expression on my face. "You have good taste in music." he whispered, a large smile on his face. "T-thanks" I replied. I talked quietly throughout the conference, talking about our interests, and making fun of the speakers. I also talked to the rest of the band, who were seated next to him. The lights turned back on as the last business man finished his power point presentation. Everyone stood up, stretching from sitting in those uncomfortable seats all day. I felt someone leaning close to me. "Come with me." Kellin whispered in my ear. I felt chills down my spine. He took my hand and left without a word. I walked down several hallways, twisting and turning around random corners. We stopped in front of a small door, his hand still holding mine. He opened the door to reveal a small closet. He pushed me in gently, and closed the door behind us. I held my breath, wondering what he was going to do. "Listen, I have to leave soon, and my manager is probably looking for me, but I wanted to tell you that I think you're beautiful and really nice, and I'd like to see you again." he said. I didn't know what to say, so I pulled him into a tight hug. He hugged you back. I took a deep breath, breathing in his scent. He let go, we were facing each other. I just stood there for a moment, looking into each other's eyes. He slowly leaned in until his lips met mine. His kiss was slow, passionate. I pulled away; he rested his forehead against mine. I could hear voices yelling down the halls. It was the guys. "Kellin?! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?" they yelled. We both laughed quietly. Kellin dug around in his pocket pulling out a sharpie. He quickly scrawled something on my hand, gave me a quick kiss, and walked out the door. I just stood there, shocked by what had happened. I looked at my hand to see Kellin's number and a heart written in black sharpie. I smiled. My parents were waiting for me by the doors. We got in the car and headed home. I was already missing the feeling of Kellin's lips on mine. I started texted him and we stayed up all night texting. He asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes. So here I am six years later, married to the most wonderful man in the world. I woke up and walked into the kitchen. I saw my handsome husband feeding our beautiful baby boy Wren. I walked over and gave him a kiss. He smiled and kissed me back. Wren giggled. I picked him up and kissed his forehead. "Who's mommy's little boy?" I said. He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Happy third Birthday Wren." I said. "Thank you, Mommy." He said. "Want to go get ready and see your uncles and have an awesome birthday?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay then go run up to your room and I will be right there." I said. He nodded and I placed him down. He ran off to his room and I felt strong arms wrap around me. "He is growing up so fast." Kellin said. I turned around and looked at him with tears in my eyes. I began to cry and he rubbed my back. "We can always have another." He said. I smiled and kissed him. "Maybe this time a little girl." I said. "Then I think I will have to go buy a shotgun." He said. I laughed and went to go help Wren get ready. "I love you Lucy!" Kellin yelled up the stairs. "I love you too Kellin." I yelled back down to him.
