October's POV

I got into my car and sighed. I love working as a guitar tech but for a band that is so arrogant and rude it is a pain. I headed to a local bar and got a drink. I looked over at table laughing and saw one of my old high school best friends Ash Costello. She saw me and smiled. She jumped up and ran over. I hugged her tightly and started to cry. I stopped talking to her when Nikki and I broke up. "I've missed you so much October." She said crying too. "Is Nikki here?" I asked. She nodded. "Him and Heather still together?" I asked. "No, she is in Queens, NY married." She said. I was shocked. We only broke up to be with other people and I still love him. I saw Nikki and smiled. He didn't see me. "I will see if I can get him to come over." She said. I nodded. Over the Speakers though I heard it Nikki and I's turn to participate in karaoke. I looked over and Jake was smirking. I flipped him off. I headed up on stage and Nikki was shocked. I brushed it off and the song started. It was Bruises by Train. I glared at Jake he mouthed I love you. God I've missed these guys. Ash gave me an encouraging smile.

We finished and I ran off stage crying. I still love him so much but he probably doesn't feel the same way back. I heard Ash calling after me. I tripped and fell. I curled up into a ball and started sobbing. "I should've never left you Nikki." I said. "Funny, I was thinking the same thing these last five years." I heard him say. He lifted me up into his lap. I looked up at his beautiful brown eyes and kissed him. He soon was kissing back. My hands found there way to his hair and my fivers ran through it. "I love you Nikki Misery. I never stopped." I said. "I never stopped either. I love you too October Madness." He said. He picked me up and carried me back to the bar. We sat down with all our friends talking and having a blast. He never let go of my hand once. "So we need a guitar tech." Jake said. I smiled. I tackled him with a hug. "Take me please. I hate the band I work with. I want to work with my family and my boyfriend." I said. Jake laughed. "Duh, who else would we work with." He said. I smiled. I hugged them all and kissed Nikki. We all headed home and Nikki came back to my place. "Move in with me." I said. "I would love to." He said. I kissed him and we fell onto the bed and did some catching up. "I miss my October." He said moving my hair off my chest and face. "I missed my Nikki." I said kissing his chest. "Well we have each other now." He said kissing my forehead. I nuzzled my face into his chest and soon fell asleep.
