Chasing Hearts (Kyle Even)

Laurel's POV

I laughed as I punched Kyle in the arm. "You're such a jerk." I said as we walked back onto the bus. "Hey babe." I said running over to David kissing him. "Hey beautiful." He said. "Here is your coffee." I said. He thanked me and got ready to head out on stage. The guys are on Warped Tour this summer. I saw Jeffree on side stage and hugged him. "Hey Lau." He said. "Hi boo." I said. I watched as the guys ran out on stage. I gave David a quick kiss and hugged Kyle. I wasn't feeling the spark with David anymore and I know he wasn't either. Kyle looked over at me and smiled. We had a thing a long time ago and I still have feelings for him. "You know you have to end it soon." Jeffree said. I nodded. "Can I stay with you?" I asked. "Of course, you're like my sister." He said. I smiled. "Hey, we need to talk." I said as David got off the stage. "Okay, let's go." He said taking me back to the bus. I sat on the couch as he got a drink. "David, I think we have to break up." I said. He spit out his water. "Did you cheat on me? What the hell?" he screamed. "David, I've lost that speak in our relationship. You can't tell me you don't feel it too." I said. "Whatever, get out of here you slut." He said. I started crying and grabbed my bags. I ran out of the bus into Kyle. "Goodbye." I said as I ran to Jeffree's bus. I threw my bags down and cried into Jeffree's chest. He kissed my head and rubbed my back. "What is going on?" Kyle asked running onto the bus. "I left David because I don't feel anything for him anymore. Kyle, I kind of, like you." I said. He bent down and held my hands. "I like you too Laurel." He said hugging me. I cried into his shoulder. "Move in with me when tour is over." He said. I nodded. Tour went by fast and we were spending all our free time together, which hasn't been easy with David always on his back. We were on separate flights back to Denver sadly. I made it back first and grabbed all my things from David and I's apartment. I got in my car and drove towards Kyle's. I looked out the window and saw David was with him. I groaned and parked my car in the parking garage calling Kyle. "I am trying to get him to leave." He said. "Okay babe, tell me when he is gone." I said. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." He said. David finally left and I moved all my stuff in. I curled up next to him in the bed. "You make me so happy." I said laying my head on his chest. "You make me happy too." He said kissing my head. We soon got married three years later well we actually eloped to Vegas. It was both of our ideas. I am pregnant now and Kyle is still in the band. We haven't told David yet that we are married or even together. "Hey babe, I am home." He said. "Kyle, we have a problem." I said. "What is it?" he asked kneeling down in front of me and holding my hands. "I'm pregnant." I said. "Honey, that is not a problem. That is great news." He said kissing me. I smiled and kissed him back. "How far along?" he asked. "She is six months. I just found out today." I said. He smiled and kissed me. "That is why I've been sick for so long." I said. "I am so excited and I've been thinking, I really don't feel like being in the band anymore." He said. "No, it is because of me isn't it." I said. "No, I just want to spend more time with my family and now that I am going to be a dad. It just proves that I believe in this decision." He said. I smiled and kissed him. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." He said.

Two Years Later

"Are you sure she is going to be alright?" I asked Kyle as I fixed my dress. "Kennedy will be fine. Besides we need some time out." He said. I nodded and headed downstairs. "You fine watching her?" I asked. "Yes, I will have a lot of fun with my goddaughter." Jeffree said. I kissed his cheek and kissed Kennedy good-bye. We arrived at the club. "Really a club?" I asked. "Hey, you aren't old yet." Kyle said. I smiled and we headed inside. They were playing new Breathe Carolina. We laughed and started dancing to Savages. We were having a lot of fun and went to get a drink. I couldn't hear anymore and I wish I did. I felt a tap on the shoulder. "David." I stuttered. "Hey, Laurel. I am so sorry about everything. I was wondering if you could give me a second chance." David said. "Hey babe, I'm back." Kyle said kissing me. I turned his head and his jaw dropped. "Hey buddy." Kyle said hugging him awkwardly. "Hey, how's your kid?" he asked Kyle. "She is amazing. Already walking and her first word was daddy." He said proudly. "That's great bro." David said. "I am going to get a drink. I will be back." He said. I smiled and looked at David. "I'm married now, David. I have a one-year-old daughter now. I had her last September. I am sorry." I said. "It is okay, Lau. Who is the lucky guy?" he asked. I looked down at my feet. "That would be me." Kyle said as he came back. "Is this why you left the band when you said it was because you were focusing on your family?" David screamed. I started crying. "David, please. We didn't want this to affect your friendship with Kyle. I didn't leave you for him. When I left you it was because I didn't love you anymore but then I fell in love with Kyle. You should at least understand." I said sobbing. "No, I knew you were just a whore." He said spitting on me. Kyle punched him in the face. "Don't you dare call my wife a whore." He said spitting on David. He picked me up and carried me to the car. We got home and held me tightly. "I don't care about what he said. I love you and nothing will ever change that." He said. I smiled and kissed him. We headed inside and Kennedy came running over yelling dada. I smiled and he leaned down picking her up. He kissed her head. "I love you princess." He said. She smiled and hugged him. I said goodbye to Jeffree and watched him leave. I looked for Kyle and Kennedy and could not find them. I walked to Kennedy's room and found him putting her to bed. I smiled and went to change. I washed off my make up and threw my hair up. I slipped off my dress and bra and placed on one of Kyle's tee shirts. I climbed into bed and waited for him. "Someone didn't want to go to bed without mommy." Kyle said walking in. I held out my arms and he passed her to me. I laid her on my chest and she fell right asleep. Kyle came over and lied down next to us. I kissed him and he wrapped his arm around me. "Goodnight." He said. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." He said. We soon fell asleep.
