Desert Love (Jake Pitts)

Carolyn's POV

I wandered around the desert lost not knowing how far away from civilization I was. I looked up and see a bunch of people not far from me. I ran towards the people and finally collapsed from dehydration and exhaustion. I heard people freaking out around me. "Guys, we need to get her out of here." One of the voices said. I feel someone pick me up and I relax my body. "Don't worry, I will help you." A calming voice said. I heard a car start up and drive off. I woke up a few hours later to a cool towel on my forehead. I look around and see I'm in someone's apartment. "Here, drink this." A guy said handing me a glass of water. I sipped it slowly. I realized I was in a studio. "How long have I been out?" I asked. "All night. It is 5 in the morning now." He said. I looked at the guy more clearly and saw it was Jake Pitts. "Thank you for helping me." I said. I finished sipping my water and a cute little Boston Terrier ran in the room. He jumped up on my lap and I kissed his head. "That's Ernie. Who are you?" Jake asked. "Carolyn." I said. He smiled at me. "My mom must've sent you to me." He said. I smiled at him and Ernie gave me some kisses. "Would you like to stay for a bit and talk?" he asked. I nodded. We headed down to the kitchen and began making breakfast. Jake started making pancake batter while I made bacon and eggs. I turned around to face Jake and he put some batter on my nose. "Hey." I giggled. He smiled and licked it off my nose. I smiled and started cooking the eggs as he cooked the pancakes. He reached down with his free hand and held my hand. I smiled and interlaced my fingers with his. I leaned up and kissed his cheek. Jake and I have now been together a year and a half. I have been so happy with him. "Where are we going?" I asked him. "You will see." He said covering my eyes. We got to where we were going and it is really hot. He took off the blindfold. We were in the desert. "The last time we were here, I was filming the movie with the guys and we found you. We have been together for almost two years now. I love you Carolyn. I can't picture myself with anyone but you. Will you please marry me?" he asks holding out a ring. "I would love too." I said kissing him. He slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me. He pulled a blanket and picnic basket out of his car. We sat on the ground and had a lovely picnic. A few weeks later we got married in Maui. He got me pregnant when we went on our honeymoon and I gave birth to a handsome baby boy. "Wren, get your butt back here." I said chasing him around the house. "No, I want daddy to put me to bed." He screamed. "Daddy won't be home until tomorrow morning." I said exhausted from running. "What was that about me coming home?" I heard Jake's voice. "DADDY!" Wren said running over to hug him. "What did I say about giving mommy a hard time?" Jake said. "Sorry mommy." Wren said. I kissed his head. "It's okay baby boy. Now bed time." I said. He nodded and Jake put him down. "I missed you." He said kissing me. "I missed you too." I said kissing him back. We headed upstairs and Wren wasn't in his room. I looked at Jake confused. We headed into our room. "I'm ready for bed." He said smiling at us. We laughed and Jake went to change into PJs. I climbed into bed and Wren snuggled up to my side. Jake climbed in on his other side. "Now sleep little guy. I will be here in the morning." Jake said kissing his head. Wren nodded and fell asleep. Jake leaned over and kissed me. I smiled and fell asleep. The last thing I saw was Jake smiling at Wren and I.
