Mitch's Kanto Journey

Clash at the Fighting Dojo

                             Mitch and Charizard stand in front of an old looking wooden building. The words " Saffron City Fighting Dojo" are painted above the entrance to the building.  " We've only got about five days until the Indigo League Tournament starts, people say that the leader of this dojo is a very powerful Fighting Type trainer that used to be a Gym Leader. I say we battle him to get some last minute training done," Mitch says as Charizard roars a " Zaaaard," in agreement.  They walk into the building and see a bare footed man in a white karate outfit with long black hair and a black beard meditating in the center of the room. 

                            " My classes are done for the day. If you want to practice martial arts with me, you'll have to come back tomorrow," he says without opening his eyes. "I'm not here for classes. My name is Mitch and I will be battling in the upcoming Indigo League. I was trying to get some last minute training done and in order to do that, I challenge you to a Pokémon battle!"   The man eagerly grins before opening his eyes and jumping to his feet. " Glad to hear that, I'm always up for a good Pokémon battle. My name is Kiyo, but I'm also known as the Karate King and I accept your challenge. Would a three on three battle be good for you," he says as he holds up a Poke Ball. " Yeah, that's okay by me," Mitch replies while grabbing a Poke Ball from his belt.  " Go, Machamp," " Pidgeot, I choose you," the two of them shout while throwing their Poke Balls into the air.

                    " Pid, Geot, Pidgeot," " Champ, Ma, Machamp, Champ," the two Pokémon shout as they land in the battlefield/hover above the battlefield.  " Use Wing Attack," Mitch shouts as Pidgeot flies at  Machamp with both of its wings glowing white. " Catch it and use Vital Throw," Kiyo hollers as " Chaaaaaamp," Machamp stops Wing Attack by grabbing it with its top two arms and then throws Pidgeot over its shoulder. " Geeoooot," Pidgeot shouts as it hits the floor very hard and Kiyo yells, " Use Submission!" " Maaaaachaaaaaaamp," it shouts as it recklessly runs at Pidgeot, grabs it, jumps into the air, and dives towards the ground while still holding Pidgeot, slamming both of them into the ground.  Machamp rolls off of Pidgeot and begins to suffer from the Submission Recoil Damage. Pidgeot manages to get to its feet before Machamp can recover as Mitch hollers, " quick, get into the air and use Hurricane!" " Pidgeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooot," it shouts as it flies into the air and uses its wings to blow up a very large cloud of wind that it blows at Machamp. " Chaaaaaaaaaaamp," Machamp, who has just got to its feet, shouts as the winds slam into it and knock it down on one knee. The winds blow out out and Mitch yells, " Don't let up, use Air Slash!" 

                   " Geeeeeeeooooot," Pidgeot shouts as it uses its wings to send a long and sharp wave of wind towards Machamp. " Dodge that and hit it with Dynamic Punch," Kiyo orders as Machamp jumps out of the way and punches Pidgeot in the chest with its glowing with crimson red energy covered fist. " Geeeeeeeot," it shouts as it hits the ground with the wind knocked out of it. As Pidgeot struggles to regain its breath, Kiyo shouts, " Use Vital Throw!" Pidgeot manages to catch its breath just as Machamp grabs it and tosses it over its shoulder. Pidgeot hits the floor, but manages to quickly get back into the air as Mitch shouts, " Use Hurricane and then follow it up with Aerial Ace!" " Geeeeeeeeoooooooot," it shouts while blowing the large cloud of wind towards Machamp. " Chaaaaaaaaaaamp," it shouts as the winds hit it and knock it to its knees, but the assault does not end once the Hurricane winds clear up as Pidgeot slams into it with its body surrounded by white energy streaks. " Cha, Amp," it weakly shouts before falling on its back with spirals in its eyes. A tired looking Pidgeot lands in front of Mitch as Kiyo recalls Machamp and silently throws another Poke Ball into the air. 

                      " Chan, Chan, Hitmonchan," Kiyo's Hitmonchan shouts as it respectfully bows to Pidgeot before punching the air a couple of times. " Use Aerial Ace," Mitch hollers, but before Pidgeot has time to start the attack, Kiyo shouts, " quick, use Fake Out and then Thunder Punch!" " Chaaaaaaan," it shouts as it slams its fists together very hard sending a shockwave towards Pidgeot that hits it and causes it to flinch, allowing Hitmonchan to rush forward and punch Pidgeot in the face with its electricity covered fist. " Geeeeeeeot," it shouts before landing on its belly in front of Mitch with spirals in its eyes.  Mitch returns Pidgeot, takes another Poke Ball off of his belt, and throws it into the air while shouting, " I choose Beedrill!"
