The Horsea School vs. the Pirate

                        Mitch and Charmeleon continue their way down the Silence Bridge on their way to the Fuchsia City Gym. " Ok, if will continue the pace that we are going, we should be off this bridge by the end of the da," " Hor, Sea, Sea," a very weak cry interrupts Mitch's sentence. " What was that," Mitch asks as the two of them begin to look around as Charmeleon spots something floating in the water right next to the bridge. "Charmeleon, Char, Char," it shouts while pointing at the object. Mitch looks over and sees that the object is a Horsea that is covered in bruises. " Hor, Sea, Sea, Sea," it weakly cries as Mitch throws a Poke Ball into the air, " Squirtle, go and get that Horsea," " Squirtle, Squirt, Squirt," Squirtle shouts as it jumps out of its ball, dives into the water and swims very fast toward Horsea as Mitch pulls out his Pokedex to look up info about Horsea.

                    " Horsea, the Dragon Pokemon, Horsea wraps its tail around solid objects on the seafloor to avoid being swept away in a strong current. When threatened, it spits a cloud of ink to cover its escape."  Mitch puts the mechanical encyclopedia away as Squirtle drags the badly wounded Horsea out of the water and onto the bridge. " Sea, Sea, Horsea, Sea," it weakly cries as Mitch grabs a Super Potion from his backpack and sprays it on the wild Water Type, healing all of its injuries. A healed Horsea quickly jumps up and looks around before turning to face Mitch, Charmeleon, and Squirtle. " Horsea, Horsea, Horsea," it says as it smiles at them and affectionately rubs its head against Squirtle. " Squirt, Squirt, Squirtle, Squirtle, Squirtle," Squirtle replies as it rubs the back of its head and blushes. " Horsea, if you don't mind, could you please tell us how you got hurt so bad," Mitch asks. 

                    Horsea is about to respond when " There you are you slippery little scallywag," shouts a cruel sounding voice from the ocean. The four of them turn to see a small pirate ship with only one person on it. This person is dressed up in stereotypical pirate attire: black pirate hat, eye patch, pirate shirt and pants, black pirate boots and a clearly fake hook hand. " What's Captain Jack Spearow from those pirate movies doing here," Mitch asks as Charmeleon sweat drops at the bad joke. " Give me that Horsea or i'll force you to walk the plank in Gyarados territory," the pirate threatens as Mitch hears several cries for help coming from the ship. Mitch looks and sees a net full of Horsea hanging from the side of the ship. The pirate notices Mitch staring at the captured Horsea and says "ah, my crew left me because we could never had a successful raid, but I thought if i showed them just how good I am at catching things, they would come back to me, so I decided to capture as many Pokemon as i could and i ended up finding a giant Horsea school, but that one that you have managed to slip away and i'm been searching for it for days. Hand it over or else."  " Hor, Hor, Sea, Sea, Hor, Sea, Sea, Sea," the captured Horsea cry out as the pirate punches the net to silence them. The Horsea that is with Mitch fires a Bubble attack from its mouth at the pirate, but he ducks out of the way at the last second.  " Oh, so you have chosen the hard way," the pirate angrily yells as he pulls three Poke Balls from his belt. ( revealing that his hook hand is fake in the process) " Hor, Seeea, Seeeea," Horsea screams as it jumps behind Squirtle, who bravely walks forward and shouts a challenge at the pirate, " Squiiiiiiirtttttle." 

             " Kingler, Seaking, Tentacruel, get rid of those fools and get me that Horsea," the pirate shouts as he throws his Poke Balls into the air. " Ler, Ler, Kingler, " Seaking, King, Seaking," " Cruel, Tenta, Cruel," they all shout as they dive into the ocean and swim towards Mitch and the Pokemon. Mitch is about to say something when Squirtle turns its head, gives Horsea a friendly smile, turns back around, and dives into the water. Squirtle swims very fast towards the enemy Pokemon as Mitch exclaims " Squirtle, what's up with you," not noticing that Horsea is staring at Squirtle with sparkles in its eyes " Hor, Horsea," it whispers. Seaking lunges at Squirtle, but it jumps out of the way. " Squirttttttttleeeee," it shouts as it forms a big ball of water between its hands. It then throws the water ball at Seaking and it turns into a small wave of water. The Water Pulse attack slams into Seaking and knocks it into a rock, incapacitating it. " Horsea, Horsea, Sea, Sea," Horsea cheers as Squirtle looks over at it and smiles, but this gives Tentacruel the perfect opportunity to slam one of its glowing purple tentacles into the back of Squirtle's head. The Poison Jab attack sends Squirtle flying back to shore, it slams into a tree and falls to the ground, severely wounded.

            Mitch, Charmeleon, and Horsea run over to Squirtle as Mitch grabs it in his arms. " Squirtle, Squirtle, can you hear me, " " Squirt," it weakly lets out. " Finish them off," the pirate commands as his Pokemon swim towards them. Horsea looks down at the injured Squirtle " Horsea, Sea, Sea," it says before " Horrrrrrseeeeeea," it fires a big cloud of smoke out of its mouth engulfing it, Mitch, Squirtle, and Charmeleon and blocking the view from the pirate, Tentacruel, and Kingler. ( Seaking has been returned to its ball) The smoke from Horsea's Smokescreen clears allowing the bad guys to see that Mitch and the Pokemon have disappeared. " Let's wait them out, they'll have to come out of hiding eventually," the pirate says as his Pokemon nod in agreement.

              Mitch, Charmeleon, Horsea, and the still injured Squirtle have retreated into the nearby woods and are currently sitting in a small clearing. Horsea is cuddled up next to the hurt Squirtle as Mitch searches his bag for medicine and eventually, discovers a Super Potion. " Here you go, tough guy," Mitch says as he sprays Squirtle with the medicine. A fully healed Squirtle jumps to its feet as a very happy Horsea affectionately rubs its head against it. " Ok, we need a plan, I say we," Mitch is interrupted by a blinding white light. Eventually, the light fades away as Mitch hears " War, War, Wartortle." He looks up to see that his Squirtle has evolved into a Wartortle. " Hor, Hor, Horsea," Horsea eagerly shouts as it hops up and down in excitement. " Great job, Wartortle," Mitch exclaims as he pulls out his Pokedex. 

                  " Wartortle, the Turtle Pokemon, the Evolved Form of Squirtle, the fur on Wartortle's tail darkens with age. Its shell bears the scratches of many battles." " Ok, the plan is," " Waaaaaarrrrrrtoooortle," it shouts as it runs out of the forest. " Wartortle, wait, come back," Mitch exclaims as he, Charmeleon, and a blushing Horsea chase after it. 

            They exit the forest just in time to see Wartortle send Kingler flying with a powerful Skull Bash. " Kinnnnngleeeeer," it screams as it flies through the air and lands next to its trainer with spirals in its eyes. " Useless! Tentacruel it's up to you, crush those brats," the pirate angrily shouts as he returns the unconscious Kingler. Tentacruel fires a Poison Sting at Wartortle, but it dodges and slams into Tentacruel's face with Rapid Spin. "Tentaaaaaaa," it cries out as Wartortle jumps above it and slams an Aqua Tail into its head. Tentacruel falls down, but struggles back to its feet as the pirate screams " Fight back, you useless Pokemon." 

                    Mitch sees that the pirate is distracted and decides to do something about the captured Horsea. " Bulbasaur, use Razor Leaf on that net," Mitch yells as he throws Bulbasaur's ball into the air. " Bulllllllbaaasaur," it summons the sharp leaves and sends them towards the net, cutting it open and freeing the Horsea school just as Wartortle finishes Tentacruel off with a Water Pulse to the face. The angry pirate returns Tentacruel to its Poke Ball before screaming " That's it, I'm using the cannon," " Hooooorssssssseeeaaa," the school of Horsea surround his ship and fire off Bubble, Water Gun, and Dragon Pulse attacks at it. The ship is destroyed as the pirate is sent flying off to an unknown location.

           The Horsea school swim back into the ocean as Mitch, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Bulbasaur, and Horsea look on. " Ok, guys, let's go," Mitch says as he turns to his Pokemon, but sees that the wild Horsea and Wartortle are staring at each other and smiling. " OK, so, I guess that means Horsea is coming with us," Mitch says as he grabs an empty Poke Ball and throws it at Horsea. Horsea is sucked into the Poke Ball and the capture noise goes off as Mitch sends the Poke Ball containing his Gastly to Oak's lab so that Horsea can remain on his team.
