(A/n- My friend made the picture of me above, isn't it cute? I love it so much :D)

Minho sat solemnly alone in the back of the library again, but this time, Jisung would never show up. Jisung probably wouldn't even want to show up.

If this had happened a few months ago, Minho would probably be making up dozens upon dozens of excuses as to why none of this was his fault and Jisung was to blame or something like that.

But now.. Minho knew very well that he only had himself to blame.

Honestly, the pressure of knowing how much he had done wrong and the amount of stuff he had messed up was like a large weight pounding down onto his shoulders that would probably never lift.

Minho sighed heavily, flopping his head into his arms at the table and closing his eyes.

It was too much.

He could hear nothing, not even the slight chatter from further away in the library. It was completely silent with the exception of the air conditioning whirling in the background.

He felt the carpeting of the floor under his shoes and he dug his toes harder into the ground.

Minho's head didn't perk up when he heard hush foot steps walking in his general direction. He found himself silently wishing and hoping that it was Jisung, but deep down he knew it wasn't.

It couldn't be.

"Found you." A familiar voice rang in his ears, and again, he didn't bother to look up.

"Didn't know you were looking." Minho said in a flat tone voice. He wasn't about to show any pity or emotion. The chair across from him scratched the ground as he pulled it out and he sat down.

Minho finally looked up and made eye contact. It was made clear the Jeong-Hoon wasn't leaving any time soon.

"Can I help you." He said with a slight glare snaking into his eyes. Minho was in no mood to talk to him right now.

"Yeah. Yeah you can." Jeong-Hoon said, starting to smile, and then letting it drop as if he had realized that it really wasn't funny.

Minho gave a look that asked 'then what?', and the taller boy continued in his speech, "I saw you with Jisung the other day."

Minho made a confused face, "Yeah he tutored me. I was with him a considerable amount." He said as if the other boy was dumb.

If Jeong-Hoon was anything, it wasn't dumb.

"No. I saw you meet up with him in the library. I didn't see much, but it didn't seem like a tutor session, and you didn't pick fun at him, so what? Why were you two together." He asked.

Minho knew right then and there that Jeong-Hoon was suspicious of the two of them. Good news for him though, Minho and Jisung were no longer on speaking terms, "I talked to him for a moment. We finalized the end of our tutoring sessions."

Technically this was the truth.

"You've been ghosting him for weeks, why only now?"

It almost felt like Minho was on trial for something. I guess he was though.

"I don't know. He texted me to ask."

"He has your number?"

"Yes Jeong-Hoon. He legit tutors me, we have to make plans like that somehow." Minho said in an 'are you dumb' tone.

"Right."

The two of them fell into silence, but the taller wasted no time to speak again, "I know he liked you."

"Yeah. So? What's that got to matter. It just made things more fun with him." Minho said. He couldn't help but fear where this conversation would go.

"Yeah. I would think so too, but it almost seemed like.. you had feelings for him as well." He said, seeming to get joy from briefly putting a look of panic on Minhos face.

The boy rolled his eyes, "You 'caught on' to something non-existent. I had no feelings for Toy 9." A pang of hurt slithered and constricted at Minhos lungs.

Jisung had a name.

"So if I were to, say," he thought for a moment, "make you give Toy 9 to me you would have no problem with that?"

"Why would I give him to you anyway? He's my property." Minho said, catching into his scheme.

"Well if you have no emotional connection to him, and your tutoring is over, you wouldn't be butthurt if I started to make Jisungs life a living hell.. would you?" Jeong-Hoon asked.

Minho knew what this meant. If he said he didn't want to give up Jisung, Jeong-Hoon would automatically assume that him and Minho had had feelings for eachother, and Minho would be ruined.

However, if he let Jeong-Hoon take Jisung, then problem solved. Except that now Jisung life would be pure torture. No literally.

Jeong-Hoon was by far one of the cruelest people that Minho knew, and he would stop at no end to see if Minho reacted at all to him hurting Jisung.

He once bullied a girl into committing suicide not 5 weeks into her first year of high school. He used her as an actual sex slave on multiple occasions and ruthlessly bullied and humiliated her in front of large crowds of people. He was also no stranger to physical abuse..

"Is that a no?" Jeong-Hoon tore a hole in Minho's thoughts, "You're hesitant. Should I begin to tell people who you really are then..?"

So this is what Jisung felt like when Minho had threatened him.

Minho shook his head in a cowardly moment that would both define and break him for the rest of his life. For the rest of his life, he probably wouldn't go a day forgetting this moment..

"Take him. I don't give a fuck."

. . .

This was the start of a very long and painful road for both Minho and Jisung.

Neither of them would make it out unscathed.
