Was it hard for Minho to recollect all of the shitty stuff that him, JinYoung and Jeong-Hoon had done to Jisung? Yeah, it was, but he couldn't begin to comprehend what Jisung must feel.

Especially giving details as to the gross stuff that Jeong-Hoon in particular had done. Being vulnerable to someone you barely know, like the police, was a shit show all on its own.

Minho hoped to catch Jisung alone for a minute to ask what went on with his dad on Thursday after what had happened in the meeting, but he couldn't seem to find him.

When he asked his lawyer where Jisung was Ms. Kang simply said he was still talking to the police because they had to ask him some much more in depth questions about some quote 'harsh topics'.

Minho knew what that meant well enough by now; Jisung was being grilled about some stupid shit to make sure he wasn't just making up these allegations—despite all the legal proof.

Minho went in to the conference room with his lawyer by his side and his dad no where to be seen. He had, admittedly, asked his dad to tag along, but he had declined.

Minho thought that his dad had started warming up to him as a son after all the shit that had been happening, but he still made up some work excuse.

Even though this was a pretty hard day for Minho to have to deal with on his own.

He thought about calling Chan but decided he should just suck it up and go on his own. What was the worst that could happen, right?

Well it turns out, a lot.

The police tried to make Minho look guilty – which he kind of was – but not the right way. They wanted to try and press charges against Minho, to the point that Ms. Kang had to step in and help him out. She had to stop them from saying anything further and point out that no one was pressing charges against him.

They backed off after she gave them a few passive aggressive words and moved on to other questions, but that didn't stop Minho from thinking.

What if Ms. Kang hadn't been there? What if they should be pressing charges against Minho..

He had no time to think about any of that though, because he had to keep his eyes open for Jisung. He was sitting in the waiting room of the police station with Ms. Kang tapping her foot beside him.

She insisted they leave, but Minho said no. She couldn't leave until Minho did, just incase something happened or the police wanted to say something to him again.

Minho knew that Jisung's dad had probably gone into the conference room with him and therfore would come out with him, but Minho still hoped that maybe he would get a shot, even just a small one, to speak with Jisung about all this.

If Chan was saying that Jisung needed to 'break the news himself', he assumed it must be something serious and he had a pretty good idea of what.

He had a feeling that Jisung wasn't allowed to see Minho anymore—and this time for real. He dreaded that feeling of never getting to see Jisung, the same one he got when he found out the first time, or when he found out Jisung was changing schools.

There was still hope back then though.

His stomach was tied into a knot and it was hard for him to think about anything other than Jisung. The things he would give just to kiss him again...

It was kind of pointless to still be simping over Jisung though, considering that his father hated his guts.

Minho's head perked up when he saw three people leaving from the hallway across the room and he immediately recognized them as Mr. Han, Mr. Kim and Jisung.

Minho got to his feet, his eyes fixed on Jisung and only Jisung, ignoring the dirty look that Mr. Han had sent spiraling his way.

Jisung looked over at his dad as if to get permission for something, got a tense nod in response, and went bounding in Minho's direction.

Minho took a few steps forward as well before the two met face to face, "Jisung—?" The younger cut him off, grabbing his wrist gently and leading him quickly to the back of the room where there was a not very busy hallway.

He led the two of them into a more or less closed off nook where a door sat, unopened. Jisung's eyes were puffy and red, probably meaning he had cried while giving his statement. "Minho.." he said softly, more tears prickling in his eyes.

"What? What happened?" Minho was hesitant to placed his hand on Jisung's hip, but did it anyway.

"I'm so sorry.. he made me choose, I swear, I had no choice—I didn't wanna leave home," he blubbered, "Please don't be mad, please, please—"

"Be mad?" Minho cut him off, "Why would I be mad? Slow down Jisung, explain this to me.."

Jisung took a deep breath, almost as if he had practiced what to do, "My dad said I either had to choose to stay away from you, or leave the house.. Minho he, he was gonna disown me.." he voice cracked into a whisper part way through and Minho's mouth fell slightly agape, "I chose to stay at home.. I really didn't wanna leave you but I just, I couldn't.." he trialed off.

Minho stayed quiet, closing his mouth. He felt almost.. betrayed. He knew he shouldn't and it was perfectly reasonable for Jisung to do what he did.. but it hurt.

It hurt a lot.

Minho finally nodded, trying not to seem like he wasn't mad or upset. "Okay." Was all he managed to get out in a whisper voice. It was just now dawning on him that this time, it was genuinely the end.

Jisung was simply out of reach.

"Minho please don't hate me, we still might have a chance—" Jisung tried to plead but Minho was suddenly not in the mood to be around him anymore.

Not from dislike of Jisung, just from the pure pain that came with him. "No I get it Jisung. I think this should probably be the end.. right?"

Jisung shook his head, limbs trembling, "No, when I turn eighteen—"

"Im not going to be the reason your father disowned you Jisung. We've done this too many times not have learned our lesson by now.. let's just, uhm, let's just go our separate ways?"

Jisung reached out and clenched Minho's shirt in his hands not able to say anything more.

Minho smiled delicately, "I'll, I'll see you around then, right?"

He started to walk away and Jisungs hand fell limp from his shirt, only staring at where Minho used to stand. He didn't when look up when the elder said one last thing.

"Please Sungie, just give up on me..."
