Felix sat curled up on the couch, feeling very cold. Why was Chan's house so fucking cold? It was like all of the air conditioning was on at one and every window and door was open.

He tucked his feet under himself and clung his arms in near his chest trying to get rid of the goosebumps. It was embarrassing to be shivering like in front of Chan.

The elder seemed pretty caught up in the movie currently blaring from the huge ass flat-screen, but he was still relatively close. He was sitting probably about a foot away, perfectly fine.

He wasn't cold or anything, in fact, he seemed to be quite warm judging by the fact that he had taken his sweater off a couple minutes ago.

Felix had originally insisted that he stay with Jisung the night before he went back to court again, but he had been told to let him rest.

Jisung said that he wanted to be alone for the night to calm himself, and Felix respected that. He assumed something similar had happened with Minho, judging that Chan was here.

They had a three day gap between the court dates and Felix had spent the last two right beside his best friend.

Turns out Minho wasn't that much of a coward either. Felix had gained some respect for him after he pulled that move the other day. Jeong-Hoon totally deserved it.

"Felix?"

The younger snapped out of his thoughts, blinking a few times to fully concentrate. He looked over at Chan, who had said his name, "Mm?" He hummed lightly.

"You must be in a whole other world. I called your name three separate times." He chuckled, getting up from the couch and taking a stretch.

"Ah.. I'm sorry." The movie was still buzzing in the background, "I was just think about Jisung."

Chan nodded, "I was asking if you wanted snacks though? A glass of water? I could grab you something." He suggested.

Felix reached out for the remote and paused the TV, "Yeah sure. Anything is fine." He shrugged, admiring this new angle of Chan's face.

"Alright." He smiled, "I'll be back in a moment." He said as he left the room, leaving Felix to only the small hum of the vents.

He shivered again, bringing his limbs closer. Why did Chan live in such a cold temperature? No wonder though, he has to cool of his hot ass body somehow, right?

Okay. Im sorry. I'll never make a joke like that again.

Only a few minutes later Chan returned, handing a bowl of popcorn to the younger. He was about to sit down himself when he stopped, and turned to look at Felix, "You look absolutely freezing, are you cold?"

Felix shook his head, "No its fine, I just get cold a lot it's nothing to really worry about. I'll un-pause the movie." He tried to move  quickly and off the topic. He didn't want to seem too needy.

Chan slid the remote out of Felix's reach, grabbing the sweater he had taken off of himself and straightening I out. "Here, I'll give you my sweater. I don't need it, so I'm sure it'll make you warm." He smiled.

Felix shook his head, "No seriously—" before he could even finish his sentence, Chan pulled the sweater over his head, prompting Felix to stick his arms through, as if he were dressing a toddler.

"Aw, you look so cute." Chan said, fixing the boys hair which had been messed up from the hoodie.

Felix made an annoyed face, "I didn't ask for that." He noted, pretending to be upset, even though he could still feel the warmth of Chan on the hoodie—not to mention his smell. He loved the perfume Chan wore.

"Don't worry Lixie, you didn't have to." Chan sat down on the couch, pulling the younger into his lap and cradling him in his arms. He moved and started the movie again, but neither of them were actually paying attention.

Felix was blushing hard, feeling like a small child being rocked to sleep – he wasn't complaining though. Chan was doing a damn good job at getting him warm again.

Maybe waiting 8 months wouldn't be so bad. If they could still cuddle like this, what was the problem? Maybe the couldn't kiss, and maybe Felix wouldn't get to know what it felt like to get railed, but that was okay.

As long as the had eachother, even in the most friend-zoned way, they still had eachother. They were happy with that.

Felix let his muscles relax, sinking into the gentle caress of the elders fingers in his hair, and his fingertips, which were running along his skin under the sweater.

Something about it was just so calming, and he felt more at peace than ever before. He felt like he might fall asleep, even with an action thrilled playing in the background.

He let his eyes drift shut, and when he heard Chan whisper, "Aw.. good boy.." in a loving and gentle manner, he didn't even open his eyes. He already knew that the elder was staring at his freckles.

Chan always made comments about how perfect his freckles were.

"Don't worry Lixie, you can fall asleep. I promise to take good care of you." He could hear the delicate smile on his face through his sweet voice.

"I'll protect you."
