Jisung was completely conflicted. What was he supposed to think about this? On one hand, he was glad that he had a way out of this hellish situation, but on the other hand, he was quite scared.

If Jeong-Hoon where to find out that him and Minho had gotten some mafia looking dudes to look up dirt on him so that they could throw him into jail, he probably wouldn't be very happy about it.

It was a risk to both Minho and himself, a risk that he wasn't sure he should be taking.

That also means that his own dad would have to find out about all that had been going on behind his back, and Jisung didn't know how he would react. He would come to know that Minho was still a part of Jisungs life, and that Jisung had actually been bullied in school.

That would be so embarrassing; for his father to find out that his son was so weak as to have been bullied that badly – or to find out about every other lie.

And while all of these were issues, Jisung was most upset about having to take part in all of this. He would have to give a statement to the police and tell so many people about the mortifying things that Jeong-Hoon had done to him...

He simply wasn't sure he would be able to stand up and explain what went on between the group in front of so many people— the judge, the lawyers, his parents, Minho's parents and every other person that sat to watch for whatever reason.

Not to mention Felix. Before, when Jisung was being bullied Felix worried out of his mind, so how would the boy feel now that Jisung was risking so much..

After being beaten up, Felix had already forced the truth out of Jisung and all that the latter had been hiding, but still. He didn't want to make Felix worry more than he already did, this would be impossible to hide from the boy though.

Now it was the next day and Jisung was waiting for his father to get home. Mr. Lee was supposed to tell the man all of the details, and Jisung was scared.

How was he going to react? He could either be mad, scared, or betrayed. Possibly guilty.

Upon hearing the front door open and close, Jisung knew that this was about to be a long night. He sat on his bed, in Minhos sweater – for comfort – waiting for his dad to come upstairs and knock on his door.

He would probably have to explain so much more.. his dad would be furious.

"Jisung!" He heard the man call, and was relieved to hear no apparent anger in his voice.

Said boy jumped up off of his bed and was shuffling down the stairs to try and meet his father quickly. He mine as well get this over with, right?

"Yes, Appa?" He asked, skipping down the steps and swinging into the kitchen, where he saw his dad leaning on the counter looking quite distressed.

"My boss talked to me today—"

"I know." Jisung cut him off. He wanted to spare the seconds, there was no point in listening to him beat around the bush, "I'm sorry for lying to you and everything.." he said quietly, trying to hide the guilt in his voice.

"Jisung, if we want to improve anything, you have to talk to me. I was walking around completely oblivious to the fact that my son was trying to end his own life." His voice cracked, and even though he wasn't looking at the man, Jisung still knew he was crying.

"What—" Jisung looked up quickly. What did he mean 'trying to end his own life'?

"Don't play dumb with me Jisung, I found that stupid fucking razor in the bathroom last night, and today when I went to work and Mr. Lee explained all of this.. I just know.." he whispered.

"No, Appa, you misunderstand— I've never tried to kill myself! Yes, I've thought about using that blade but I've never even done it..." he knew that this was all one big misunderstanding...

"Show me your wrist.." he whispered.

"W-what?"

"Jisung, show me your fucking wrist."

Jisung was hesitant, knowing that there was one or two open scars from the other day. He slowly lifted it, hoping that his father wouldn't notice them, "These were from a stray cat.. I went on a walk a little bit ago and saw one. It wasn't as friendly as I thought."

Jisung knew his voice was shaking as he lied, and he knew that his dad probably didn't believe him, but the man said no more on the topic, "Sure. I'll be keeping a close eye on you from now on Jisung."

"Okay.." he spoke hesitantly, "What about the court thing..?"

"We're doing it. No kid that hurt my son is going to walk free for any longer. That Jeong-Hoon bitch can die in a cell for all I care." He gritted his teeth, basically growling.

"Appa.."

"Mm."

"What if I don't.. what if I don't want to do it..?" He asked quietly.

His father looked up quickly, "Why wouldn't you? This is probably the only chance you'll get to put that kid in jail."

"I guess.. I guess I'm just scared." He whispered.

"You have no time to be scared. You should really be scared of that Minho kid, he's no good, at all. I can't believe you ever let him.. have you." He visibly cringed at the thought.

"What? What's wrong with Minho?"

"What do you mean? He's the one that started this whole shit show – remember, Jisung, I know everything now."

"No, he's different now. He's nice, and, and he cares now." Jisung said eagerly, wanting his dad to see Minho the same way he did.

But the man simply shook his head, "No, Jisung. You stay away from him. The only time you'll see that boy is in reference to the court cases. Other than that? Minho is dead to you."

"What? But, but Appa, he not like that anymore, I swear. You should meet him, then you'll know! You'll see just how sweet he is. He'd never hurt me—"

"Your young, stupid and naiive, Jisung. That boy is only being nice to make you trust him again, as far as I'm concerned he's exactly like Jeong-Hoon." He snapped, "And if it weren't for the fact that his dad is the one running this whole operation, I'd have him thrown into jail as well."

Before Jisung could possibly get our another word, the man rushed out of the room and closed his bedroom door behind him. Jisung simply sighed, tears welling in his eyes. This couldn't be true.

Would he really never be able to see Minho again? Apart from those stupid court cases..?
